				   | Given her age, have you given any thought to spaying her before she leaves your home. That would fully guarantee that she would not be used for breeding. Witholding papers is really nothing. I know of a person who was desperate to breed her faulty female Yorkie. The Yorkie stud would have zip to do with her. On the last day of her fertile period, human grabbed a male Maltese and stuck them together and they bred. $ males and 1 female were whelped. She started trying to get stud's owner to fill in papers ad she said NO! Period! No prob. The person sold the 4 boys as purebred without papers. Said the female died (surprised?) but she bought a set of papers from an Amish miller in PA for $200.00. Still breeding that purebred Yorkie/Maltese. |

				   | Even though you withhold papers, someone could still breed with another pure breed yorkie and sell pups for $200....If you did not want her breed, I would go ahead and spay her. |

they know parents were pure bred so you could offer them akc papers once you are given proof by the owner and their vet that the yorkie had been spayed/neutered. If it were mine I would have pup fixed before my pup left me. And on the buyers side of it I would want things in writing if you go with akc papers after spay/neuter. Sorry I forget if this little pup is a f/m

				   | pup is a female and spaying her may not be a bad idea... i didnt want to have to spend any more money im already going to lose alot by selling her for 600.00 that was my biggest thing... but makes sense to spay her to know she will be just a pet for sure... thanks for the input...

				   | There are reasonable spay clinics in most towns but if you don't trust, just go for your vet....you don't have to lose money on the deal.

				   | I encourage spaying her too. You can incorporate the medical cost in her price. The new owners that don't plan to breed her will have to pay anyway right? I would have your vet check for baby teeth and remove them while she's under. Good luck finding her the perfect home! |

				   | pm to Brean so you all can read about our trip home. Just got home.yawn long drive.Maggie was panting and shivering all the way home till we stopped at a rest stop and we got some food. She stopped panting and shivering once daddy gave her some hamburger(she went nuts)We are now home and she is sniffing EVERYTHING to funny.I called the vet on the way home and Maggie goes in Tues morning for the checkup and to get spayed.I get to pick her up wen morning.I am a little scared about it but i think that she will be fine.Pray for her to recover anyways.I will pm you and let you know how things go. I went shopping when we got home.Well i dont know if she forgot me or what but she has been glued to hubby.I do know how hard it was for you to see her go(i could tell)but atleast you will have some part of her by watching her grow up.Its not every day that you can place a pup in a home and stay in constant contact with the person.I am on Yt all the time always talking about Neo and i will be talking about Maggie too.I also know if i ever have a problem or question i can talk to you on here or call you.Ill keep you all posted on her warming up to her new home.Neo is so mad at me right now.He pouted allllllll the way home(3 1/2 hours)Now he wont even look at me.
