Changed my mind - want an adult female

I think this is wrong. A persons private life is their bussiness. What right do we have to question them? What right do we have to do a back ground check on memebers.call their home? This has been done before on here. and it is so wrong.

What I don't get is 'who do some of you think you are?' That is NOT directed to anyone in particular and not particularly at anyone that's posted on this thread either. Who died and gave you the key to the castle? What I'm saying is that for some reason there are some people on this forum that seem to think they have the right to judge others and are pompous enough to do it! There is only ONE person that is big enough to judge another...and trust me...he's looking down and doing just that, this very minute. You'll get your's on your judgement day. My goodness, y'all need to take a real hard look in the mirror. I'm sure that your lives aren't all that darned peachy if looked at with a magnifying glass either!

Ok, I think we are taking this to the extreme, for one WE don't know if someone called her house, why? Second, she posted her whole name so someone would find her....3, Didn't Kimberley apologize already!! Common people, dissension at is best people!! Accuse, and divide....

Please before we start arguing with well established members over this, please check her profile...she let this thread go a few day before she posted, but was on this site...If someone called her house, I am sorry...But again, how do we know..

WOW.

One thing that was said already is ....this is a public site - when someone posts a phone number on the net - it can be accessed by anyone and I would REALLY hope it wasn't a member of yorkietalk that called her home....we have alot of people that do NOT post here - they just read... and I sincerely hope whoever did this was not a regular member here.

Faith - the members here are wonderful people and I'm sorry you had to go thru this - It's very possible it wasn't a member here at all who called you and just someone who was reading the site. The For Sale Section gets alot of hits because YT comes up in most of the searches using the word 'Yorkie'.

When people apologize - hopefully their apologies are accepted and everyone can move on ?

I also wanted to add...people come on this site all the time and not always with good intentions - WHEN someone has issues or doesn't like what is said - it's such a shame the WHOLE site gets comdemned -

Faith - you experiences something that shouldn't have happened - but you also have to remember there are so many WONDERFUL people on here and please don't be so quick to judge everyone over the actions of one.

I honestly don't undertand why someone would call someones home - and I don't agree with it at all - but it really might NOT have been a regular member - You want people to give YOU the benefit of the doubt - why not do the same with the site ?

I hope you can see the members here for what they are - True yorkie lovers that really care and help others - if you spend more time here you'll see this is true.

I think Villette has said it very well. It might not have been someone here at YT that called. I would rather use our post - this way we all know what I have said. We are a great bunch here at YT and are only trying to be helpful.
Faith - I am sorry too that you feel so bad, but like we have all explained - we have had some people get on here only to see what fun (they think) they can have with us. So we are a bit cautious.
And we do care very much for our babies and only have their interest at heart. When we have ones that give out recommendations for breeders they trust them and feel responsible. And it works both ways!
Believe me we were not really being judgmental, just trying to make it all add up.The Internet can be a great tool to help, but if not used correctly can be damaging. This is why we have to make sure there are checks and balances.

I really doubt that any of the members made that phone call. Anyone on the internet could have made it. I dont think anyone needs a sermon either. There have been alot of fishy things on here and if people are Skeptical untill things are answered so be it. Just because she said a phone call was made doesnt mean someone on here did it.

I agree. Just because she said someone called her house does not mean that someone from YT did it.
