Changed my mind - want an adult female

I thought this was a forum for Yorkie's not a click that think they are God's who can judge others and gossip! I retired from the Sate of Maryland with honors from the Governor for my teaching and research in Mental Health. Since that time I went back to school again to study compulsive behaviors and to spend 2 years in Asia (mainly Singapore) to study their social welfare system. I returned in July and moved to Virginia to be closer to my daughter who is pregnate. I grew up in Minninite community and trading was a part of life and I still love to it and have never meet anyone who looks down it. Until now. Yes, 800. for a Yorkie. My last posting said that I would get a Yorkie and then see how it goes. I figured that I could always get another on for breeding after I got the feel for what I wanted to do. I just bought my house in September and have no idea about my phone number, I have only had it a short time and really don't care who it comes back to. Someone just called here and asked for Ms. Cooper and hung up when I said there was no one here by that name. How brave! I resent the fact I have to explain my personal life to you. But what really bites is not one of you judges picked up the phone to call instead of being gossips. It's easy to put trash on here but just remember God sees you where ever or whatever your doing. And one last thing maybe I did not research enough, used the wrong words. SORRY! When I was growing up a dog that could walk through your hond not knock things over was considered a small dog. I'm not angry since reading this crap this morning, just sad that most of you probably call yourselves christians. I will pray that God touches and everyone of your hearts and that you can grow in his love. Don't bother posting b/c I am not wasting my time reading it. Faith

Whoever called my home asking for Ms. Copper. Why don't call directory assistance for Virginia and as for the town of Radford and then ask for the listing number for F. Toston. Then call and ask if I'm there if you have the guts not to hang up on me.

Please accept my apologies.. I truely did not want to hurt anyones feelings, but I have to tell you the reason why we are all so suspicious around here, many have tried to pull the wool over a bunch of us tried to sell dogs that were not theris to sell and trying to buy ones that the can't afford. Once again Faith I'm sorry, this would not be the first time I was wrong but hopefully the last. And just to add I was not the one who called your home.

It's awful to have someone this angry...

We have a tendency to be suspicious at postings that we do not completely understand, and if time goes by and the original poster does not respond to the questions and suspicions, then they mount up...

It does come down to this: we are all very concerned with the pups and their well being. If we seem callous and unfeeling towards the human, it is because we doubt the poster has our same strength of doggy dedication we do. But is it fair to make someone feel as horrible as this person obviously feels? I wonder...

I don't know if anyone really ever read my post!! I am kinda getting upset. It is okay that people can feel confused and mysterious.. But I just cannot stand when people start being judgmental. I cannot believe that someone even tries to look up the phone number in google and started posting about it. I am just so disappointed. I mean.. my phone number was listed with other person's name in public directory and I get a lot of wrong numbers. I just ... well.. I am speechless. Everyone is different. Expressing your opinions and thoughts are fine.. but not go into someone's privacy. I don't care if she is a doctor or a student or whatever.. She deserves a little bit more respect... There are people in this thread that I have a lot of respects for.. but.. this is just ridiculous!

I hope daisyria can get tons of information here and take time to make decision. It is better to spend more time to learn before it gets too late and you feel sorry. Don't be discouraged... Having a yorkie is just wonderful... as some said, you can feel a lot of joy without breeding them too! I think you should try getting one at time to see how you feel! Because they are living animals, you want to make sure you can handle it. I am watching two dogs today.. it is a bit hard! since i usually watch only one dog at time.

Well, Faith if someone actually called you, I am sorry...However, since I lived in MD all my life, and am currently on lithium...Ive never heard of your institute or research! I am sorry I missed out on that...I hope you will be just find, I know how hard it is for a regular person to take criticism, I have no idea how a pysch dr. takes it...I hope you are ok, and that you feel better! Like I said in my other post tonight I feel terrible that I was wrong but then again we have had a bunch of people on this site that claim to be one thing and turn out to be another, Does anyone remember the one were a lady was selling a dog and she posted pictures of two different dogs, claiming that it was the same one. That was the time when I was searching for my male and came across a website with the same picture that the person posted here. It was all phoney!, she was just trying to get someone to fall for her ad. Once again I'm sorry for all this trouble, but unfortanately you can never be too sure.

I could understand.... that people on net or even in real life are not always honest. But I would rather be fooled than insulting and hurting others if not sure. Even it is just misunderstanding, if it escalates, no good!

Ok, I understand everyone's feeling bad about this, however to play devil's advocate for a moment; how do we know all this happened? This seems very terrible indeed, but if this thread was that hurtful and evil, admin would have closed it! I think that the members who have been here for a while know each other, and know that nothing like this has happened in the past, especially with the ad's with phone number's that are blatantly dishonest..Geesh, trust goes a long way, both ways..

I think some folks just come on too strong on this forum not even meaning too; And not realizing the closeness of the members and our true passion. I did this myself once, not understanding the true "fellowship" of yorkietalk. Some people don't know the deal here and they probably say things to build them selves up for the public eye and when it comes to their defense. As long as its truthful... then so be it.

I don't know if this person is a doctor or not, but since there are several diff kinds of dr's i'd have to give them the benefit of the doubt before i passed judgement and i'd need real facts.

I hope she is a doctor and I hope she comes back....and i hope she finds what she's looking for. otherwise...i dont have anything else to add here.

It's also a shame that people have been calling your residence. Please pay no mind to those folks. But, I have to say that it may not have necessarily been a YT member. Your phone number is out there for people all over this world to read...that's why I prefer to post an e-mail addy instead of a phone number.
