| FYI...check out this breeders website: Home - Yorkies by Rose's LittleBuds "Mini is on the small end of our females. At 4 lbs., she produces true life little toys. One thing about small/tiny Yorkies is safety.Safety of these tiny dogs is of the utmost importance. They are fragile and you must be careful!" How about besides "tiny yorkies" are fragile it's unethical to be breeding a female this size

I'm wondering why the puppy is advertised here for $900, but $800 other places

| Quoted off one of the pups for sale " 34 champion in this gorgeous little boys AKC pedigree.$800 Breeding contract or $1500 buys him out right. Great opportunity. " Wow looks to me as advertising that they have 34 championsin the pedigree to 1. make extra cash, 2. make it seem like they are something super special. Remember it's a great opportunity. That rubs me the wrong way sorry. |

| Sean, Sean, Sean...we have only posted facts provided courtesy of your own website. You do not follow the standard of breeding and our YT members deserve to be made aware of that. You must think so, too...you did author that information...did you not?

I don't know you and that is the problem for many potential buyers looking for a puppy. They search on the internet and come to Yorkietalk looking to buy a Yorkie from a reputable breeder. You can't really be sure what you are getting when you purchase that way, so all any of us can do is to alert buyers to red flags and what to look for and not look for. I can't say if you are a reputable breeder or not, but I know for a lot of buyers looking they make take at face value that puppies listed here are from reputable breeders and that is certainly not always the case. Many people post here for no other reason then to use this site to help sell their puppies and that does seem to be mainly what you do as well. The fact is you are breeding a 4lb Yorkie and you are breeding an 8lb Yorkie, according to your site. One is smaller then most reputable breeders would recommend and one is over the AKC standard. My original point is you have a puppy listed on YT for $900, but have the same puppy listed in other ads for $800. Why?

| You would really ship a 1.14lb puppy ?? I hope you at least use courier service. I would hate to think what could happen to that puppy if it flew cargo. Personally, i would never buy a puppy from you. Main reason is cause the only time i see you post is to sell a puppy.

| Well, I am not on the other side of the country or in Canada. I am in Florida. When I was looking for my little one last year I did check out your website, and many others. I ended up buying my beautiful little boy from Michigan. A beautiful boy with good lines, bred to standard and very healthy. 8lb is not a nice standard size female (standard is up to 7lbs), - and a 4lb that produces true life little toys?????? And you have one of your puppies on your website going to its new home at 8 weeks???? The one you are advertising now is 10 weeks?? Most reputable breeders do not let their puppies go before 12 weeks. And shipping a puppy that is less than 2lbs???????????????????????

Your attitude in your posts alone (not even considering if your Yorkie's are wonderful or not) would prevent me from buying a bone from you, let alone a dog. Tsk Tsk....

| That puppy is too small too young to be going anywhere. I would also very much discourage such small females being bred as obviously, many here would agree. No we are not nasty. Many people on this forum know way better on what to look for in a reputable breeder. And they do not hesitate to speak up. |

| I haven't been on YT very long...but how is it fair to criticize one person for breeding a 4.5 lb girl and than applaud another in breeding a 4.5 lb girl and using a 2.5 lb stud. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/ima.../paperclip.gif Announcing the birth of Duchess and Sebastian's 5 babies! IMO there is nothing ethical about either one but yet they are both being treated differently. I don't mean to offend anyone just stating a fact!!

Both girls are too small by most reputable breeders recommendations. I don't think the people that responded to this one are reacting differently to the other, they are probably like myself and haven't seen that one.

| I totally agree! I hope any potential buyers who feel they need to buy the breeder first realize this type of attitude isn't what they want to buy or support!
