I would like to know how much this person spent for their Yorkie? :confused: In 6 months (if they have had the dog that long) what financial expenses did they inccure to justify the price? :confused: Where do you come up with $8500? :confused:

BTW... It makes me sick to think that people bid on dogs. I would never partake in that and I am very sad and sickened to think anyone else would. :mad:

It's usually people who think their money will buy them anything and everything. People who show their status by waving their money around to show superiority.

Hey I want to jump in on this!! My Petey that I just bought weighs 1.1lbs, yes he is only 9 weeks old, but gosh he isn't going to be much bigger and he didn't cost me anything near that!

But this is what the seller wants for her dog and she can ask any price that comes to her mind for him... I think its crazy and some of you think its crazy!! But its just our opinion!!

Since having Petey, I must say this though. Having a VERY SMALL Dog in the house makes it almost impossible to relax! You are always wondering where they are, if I step will he be under my feet! What did he find to chew on that will make him sick!! (at their level of site, almost anything can be missed)

Short Story:
My son was sitting on the floor with his legs folded. Petey climbed into his lap, after about 1 minutes Petey decided to jump down (remember he was only on my son's lap, maybe 5 inches from the floor, Well Petey landed with such a cry and continued to cry for at least 5 minutes... You can't have fun with a dog that tiny!!

and 1lb dogs are not ANY more portable then 3lb dogs.

It should not surprise me what people will do to get what they want, it is just that some YT members see this as ok that bothers me. :eek: But we are all our own person right? :( To each their own... My Codie is 6 lbs and he\'s LIGHT AS A FEATHER. I easily carry him AND Katie at the same time around with me -- which is a total of 8.2 lbs together.

BTW... For anyone to bring up the fact that small yorkies, such as this one, are good for handicapped people is a bunch of crap! :eyetearss This dog in particular is not leading any handicapped person anywhere, espically someone with a wheelchair. That is just asking for something bad to happen. :confused: So please if you want to make an arguement for your opinions please give us, the reader, credit for being smart and not an idiot who is going to justify this adverstisment based on an opinion like that... :rolleyes:

I just wanted to add that I do not think there is anything wrong with wanting a "smaller" yorkie that can be carried around in a purse or pet carrier. I do have a problem with people that want the tinnie tiny yorkies to put in there purse simply to hear people ohh and aww over it, basically get the attention, which once again brings us back to a "fashion accessory". JMO
