pup The hardest thing for a breeder sometimes can be.."Doing what is right for each puppy"...I am sure there are many people who can and will pay the price..not here on YT, but other Internet sites and it will be a good home. Willing to send alot of money does not mean it is not the best home. It is very tempting when people dangle a blank check in front of you...RiniW and have both had people drive to our homes in a Rolls Royce to see pups. Do you know how easy it would be to take these people to the bank? I am concerned with a long life for the price...I do not find it in the extreme tinies and therefore feel they should be the ones who cost the least...but Rini and I have always seen the world backwards and upside down..LOL |
Pat, Lexy is 2.5 lbs. From what you say, I'm worried about her life span. So far she is healthy as a horse. Do you think at 10 months old, if she had any major health issues, they woiuld have presented by now? Elizabeth |
Well said, Pat, as usual.   Sheila |

I am curious if he is neutered? |
when we got Tigger our breeder only asked 700.00 for him. he came AKC registered, health certificate, and papers on what to do for a young puppy. I think that yes, you're not giving the real yorkie lovers a chance to fully enjoy the beauty of the breed by asking so much. does he come with papers, health papers, any type of guarantee, pedigree???? Because for that much, the only people I can see buying him for that much is someone with a lot of money who just wants a pocket pooch. and I do believe that's exactly what you don't want to happen. Just because he would have been for a lower price, doesn't guarantee that he'll go to a bad home. especially if you post it on here. We are all yorkie owners and adorers. You should give us a chance, but for that price you'll be searching long and hard for someone who'll take him. |
That price is just way too high for me to even consider it. I paid 1200 for a 4 lb yorkie. I cant see why there is such a huge difference for a yorkie that is 1.6 lbs. Good luck in finding him a home though. |
Didn't his price jump up since the first post that got deleted? |

Also, I personally would already have those results in my puppies file before advertising such a high price as you are. |
I'd just like to say that I hope the little fellow goes to a good home with someone who doesn't work and will take extra care and time with him. He looks so fragile. My 4 and 1/2 pounders little legs look and feel like they could break as easy as a pencil so I can only imagine how tiny his is:( Just hope you (the seller) don't sell him to the first person who lays down the bucks. |
I think this is so sad that this breeder is putting such a high price on this poor dog.... what if person "A" would give the dog a much better home and attention (and of course the medical care possibly needed) than person "B", however person "B" is able and willing (Crazy, IMO) to lay down the moo-lah.? It was cute, but in a weird looking way, to me. Maybe it was the coloring or the eyes or something. Not to disrespect the little guy, but I"ve seen much cuter yorkies for MUCH MUCH less. I guess its just what jumps out at you. I will be shocked if someone lays down that kind of money .... I hope for the dog's sake, the breeder will reconsider and focus more on finding him a loving forever home -- I'm confused about the statement of "coming after you if you steal my pictures" ???? ROFL That made me giggle ..... |
Is it just me or does he look like he needs a bath??? |
