| Thank you so much for your vote of confidence. It really means a lot. Words can't express enough how upset I am over this. I am really a gullibly honest person. I have 2 young children and 2 furbabies, so being a mother, honesty is everything. I feel really horribly and personally offended with all this stuff. Honestly, I have nothing to gain by selling my pup b/c I'm losing one of my babies. So being fraudulent wouldn't be worth it to me and never crossed my mind. This all came about b/c my honesty was misinterpreted. To clarify one more point. I told MickNMal that Mitzy was named Mr. Muggles/boy on her VET papers not AKC. |

| Sadly, there are a lot of dishonest people out there, and a lot of scammers. I'm too lazy right now to press the back button and find out the name of the person who made that post against you (mick N something?), I do believe that she has good intentions and was just looking out for everyone, in the event that you are one of the bad guys. It is really up to each individual to do their homework and determine if they are willing to take the chance sending money for a puppy, basicly sight unseen. But, I am thankful to have people like her on YT because she helps weed out the baddies. If it werent for someone like her, I would be out $2000 and up to my eyeballs in bull-chit. But I do hope that people will not just take her words as the gosple truth, and that they will do their own homework. Mitzy needs a good home, this is all that really matters right now, non? |

| She looks just like my Tinka. Tinka is sweet and cuddly and it looks like Mitzy is too.I hope she finds her new home soon. It's so hard to find a good home and to let one of our little ones go.... |

| Thank you all very much!! Unfortunately, I'm just an inexperienced seller/re-homer, and ultimately, I hope my Mitzy gets a great home. She is such a great girl, I really hope that all this doesn't hurt her chances of someone being interested. I do understand that are a lot of scams, some have been attempted on myself. So I do appreciate notification of them. But I really think that researching the problem and providing proof of such things is the best way to go so that no one/no pup gets hurt in the process. P.S. Kanda, you really seem great, I have your information and am definitely considering you, should I still have her in March!! Last edited by MitzysMom; 01-15-2008 at 08:54 PM. |

| Thanks, I do appreciate that, and it does mean a great deal to me for you to say that. First and foremost though, this girl needs a GREAT home and I really hope that, even if it isnt with me, you do find one soon. |

Let me first address your very serious defamation of character accusation. Stephanie’s post is not even in the ball park of illegal. Now for the issue of the puppy .I was the last one in correspondence with Mitzy’s owner. Stephanie had told me that she had found a dog that she was very interested in purchasing at that point I decided to get all the all the necessary information I would need before traveling five hours to purchase. When I pressed for further information we received no contact. We are certainly not mud slingers and I normally would not get myself involved however I do take legal threats very seriously. To clear the air I will post all the last correspondence we received from Mitzy’s owner below. After receiving this message we had sent a return message requesting the name and number of the vet, and also the original breeder information with no response. Also, we thanked Mitzy’s owner for the offer to meet us a few exits up- but said that we would rather see her current living conditions. I’m sure a moderator can verify that there was no further correspondence sent by Mitzy’s owner to us. As a last thought on this issue Stephanie has been an active positive member of this online community for some time as opposed to Mitzy’s owner who has just joined this community only to try to sell her dog. I’m sorry but I find it very disturbing that someone who is already a dog owner needs multiple Vet visits to determine the sex. Again, our only concern is a happy and healthy puppy- and we would have been more than willing to give Mitzy a very loving home had we only received some clarifications for the owner. I hope everyone appreciates us just making the community aware of the situation. Good luck to all involved! Quote:

| i am glad everything is going to work out. i can u/s the "red flags" she was seeing and u/s this sounds odd. so i can see both sides. but the only thing i don't like is when someone has to throw around the phrase "i am a practicing attorney". why???? to try and scare us?

Hi Vincent, thanks for coming online to offer your $.02 ![]() I guess the problems I see with your post are that you seem to be blaming Mitzy's owner on the sex issue. If she was told it was a male and the vet took so long to clue in, how is that her fault? I suppose if it is disturbing, blame should be placed on the breeder and the vet. I'm not sure what Mitzy's mom's profession is, but I'm guessing she is not a vet or a breeder. Also, while it is understandable to be leery of a newby...you have to understand that we all start somewhere. It is great that your wife is an active, positive member of YT, but just because Mitzy's mom has just joined, that doesnt make her a bad person. Clearly things did not work out for you getting Mitzy, and I think it is great that your wife is being careful and clearly looking out for everyones best interest, but I dont think it is fair to be implying that the home conditions are less than desirable. (I suggest you imply this by saying the following: "Also, we thanked Mitzy’s owner for the offer to meet us a few exits up- but said that we would rather see her current living conditions. I’m sure a moderator can verify that there was no further correspondence sent by Mitzy’s owner to us.". It seems like you are saying after you asked to see what type of home she lives in that she stopped all correspondance. Even if this is the case, could there possibly be a reason other than the fact that she has something to hide?) As far as I know, Mitzy's mom is not a lawyer. I think when MM used that term, it was in reference to what your wife said. I think she was hurt and felt attacked. I'm no lawyer either, but is what MM said considered a legal threat??? Also, you said that you didnt get enough clarification, but how much time was actually invested? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but the reason that MM is trying to rehome her is because she is a busy nursing student. I could be totally off base here, but I guess I dont feel that MM got a fair chance. I dont think anyone believes that your wife is anything other than a caring lady. She clearly has Mitzy's best interests at heart, but in MY eyes, this case of he said, she said (or he said, she said, she said, rather) is not fair to Mitzy. And that is MY $.02...for what its worth

Sorry, this is not fair. Do you honestly believe that she was threatening you? I've read all of the posts and saw no threat. Come on...thats not even necessary. Am I missing something? You have been a member since March 2007 with 150+ posts. I dont knock this at all, I assure you, but that is hardly a few years. You are trying to make it seem like the amount of time you have spent on here makes your concern more valid than Mitzy's moms concern over feeling attacked. YOUR concern is valid and so its MM's concern. It IS important to let everyone know if you smell a rat, but I think when you go onto the OP's thread and make a claim, you need to be prepared for her to fight back and defend herself.

| I think it is easier for me to "judge", if you will, because I'm not emotionally invested. You are, as is the OP. Really, I dont know the full details of what went on, so what I, or anyone else says, doesnt really matter in the end. Lets all just hope that this dog gets an awesome home! |
