I’m sure a moderator can verify that there was no further correspondence sent by Mitzy’s owner to us.
As a last thought on this issue Stephanie has been an active positive member of this online community for some time as opposed to Mitzy’s owner who has just joined this community only to try to sell her dog. I’m sorry but I find it very disturbing that someone who is already a dog owner needs multiple Vet visits to determine the sex. Again, our only concern is a happy and healthy puppy- and we would have been more than willing to give Mitzy a very loving home had we only received some clarifications for the owner. I hope everyone appreciates us just making the community aware of the situation. Good luck to all involved! |

I guess the problems I see with your post are that you seem to be blaming Mitzy's owner on the sex issue. If she was told it was a male and the vet took so long to clue in, how is that her fault? I suppose if it is disturbing, blame should be placed on the breeder and the vet. I'm not sure what Mitzy's mom's profession is, but I'm guessing she is not a vet or a breeder. Also, while it is understandable to be leery of a newby...you have to understand that we all start somewhere. It is great that your wife is an active, positive member of YT, but just because Mitzy's mom has just joined, that doesnt make her a bad person. Clearly things did not work out for you getting Mitzy, and I think it is great that your wife is being careful and clearly looking out for everyones best interest, but I dont think it is fair to be implying that the home conditions are less than desirable. It seems like you are saying after you asked to see what type of home she lives in that she stopped all correspondance. Even if this is the case, could there possibly be a reason other than the fact that she has something to hide?)
As far as I know, Mitzy's mom is not a lawyer. I think when MM used that term, it was in reference to what your wife said. I think she was hurt and felt attacked. I'm no lawyer either, but is what MM said considered a legal threat???
Also, you said that you didnt get enough clarification, but how much time was actually invested? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but the reason that MM is trying to rehome her is because she is a busy nursing student. I could be totally off base here, but I guess I dont feel that MM got a fair chance.
I dont think anyone believes that your wife is anything other than a caring lady. She clearly has Mitzy's best interests at heart, but in MY eyes, this case of he said, she said (or he said, she said, she said, rather) is not fair to Mitzy.
