Hello all my name is Vincent I'm Stephanie's husband and also a practicing attorney.
Let me first address your very serious defamation of character accusation. Stephanie’s post is not even in the ball park of illegal.
Now for the issue of the puppy .I was the last one in correspondence with Mitzy’s owner. Stephanie had told me that she had found a dog that she was very interested in purchasing at that point I decided to get all the all the necessary information I would need before traveling five hours to purchase. When I pressed for further information we received no contact.
We are certainly not mud slingers and I normally would not get myself involved however I do take legal threats very seriously. To clear the air I will post all the last correspondence we received from Mitzy’s owner below. After receiving this message we had sent a return message requesting the name and number of the vet, and also the original breeder information with no response. Also, we thanked Mitzy’s owner for the offer to meet us a few exits up- but said that we would rather see her current living conditions. I’m sure a moderator can verify that there was no further correspondence sent by Mitzy’s owner to us.
As a last thought on this issue Stephanie has been an active positive member of this online community for some time as opposed to Mitzy’s owner who has just joined this community only to try to sell her dog. I’m sorry but I find it very disturbing that someone who is already a dog owner needs multiple Vet visits to determine the sex. Again, our only concern is a happy and healthy puppy- and we would have been more than willing to give Mitzy a very loving home had we only received some clarifications for the owner. I hope everyone appreciates us just making the community aware of the situation. Good luck to all involved!

You and Mickey sound great for Mitzy!! For that reason, and your willingness to keep in touch, we'll accept $500. I do have all vet records which include her photo on each receipt. She's fine in the car if she's out of a crate some of the time. There was only once where she got sick in her carrier, which we'll happily give you. She's been on a road trip that long over the summer when we went to NC, she sat on my lap the whole time and was fine. I have her AKC papers which I never registered, so it'll be easy to register her (vs. having to get the re-registration papers etc.). I have to warn you though on her vet papers she's known as "Mr. Muggles", this is b/c when we bought her we were told we were purchasing a male. After several visits to the vet, we were told HE was in fact a SHE. We were very surprised. We never checked ourselve and never noticed b/c she had so much hair. So please don't be alarmed by that, she went from being known as "Mugsy" (for short) to Mitzy. LOL. Any of those days are fine. Let us know which works best for you and the approximate time. Please bring Cash. She just got groomed on Friday, so she's looking her best!! I'm starting to have some anxiety about letting her go, now that we're finalizing everything but I know it's the right thing to do for her You'll most likely be speaking w/ my husband the most. His name is Travis, our home number is 804-***-**** and his cell is 540-***-****. If we agree on everything and the date I'll forward you directions, depending on the time we could maybe meet you a few exits up to make it more convenient for you. Looking forward to hearing from you, Tanya
