well I am finally able to sit down AND try to get my mind slowed down after the trip to Vegas. I, too, want to thank Connie and Robin for thier hospitality! You guys ROCK! Love you both!! Donna, it was great meeting you! we had a lot of laughs and I know there will be lots more! ( I loved your ughs too) lol
Carl, you and Denis are great and Sebastian is simply stunning.. and I agree with Connie.. Beatrice is a DIVA!! what beautiful little ones you have. BTW.. did you ever find the vegas blinky that went down your pants?? I was LMAO at that!! too funny!
Mary, I have to also say THANK YOU for being YOU!and for being my mentor and helping me to do this the right way. Sonny looked gorgeous for the ring and his topknot was great. THANK YOU for the help. I WILL get it soon! Oh and I won the $$$$ on the dollar machine... remember.. the penny machine took my money. But it really helped top of the weekend.
Since this was only my 3rd show.. it was somewhat intimidating for me too so don't feel alone Carl. I wish that I had enough of the skills to do justice by Sonny. It will come in time I am sure. It was pretty scary being the first one out when you are as green as me. I cannot believe I did not get any pictures. Thank goodness for Connie and Robin. I cannot wait to see the photos.

I don't know if you all knew this but ShowDog Video Pros has put a link out so you can watch the unfinished version of what will be on the DVDs, both days...all dogs !

Here is the link, you have to put "YTCA" where it says user name and "roving" where it says password

Then just copy the code beside where it says code

go under order then it will give you the YTCA and roving info and then you can watch it...I am doing that now...

OK now I just finished watching the first day...I need some expert answers maybe???
The second round of dogs...the winner had been shaved?? I thought they had to be in coat? Right? So how do you take a 1st place with one?
And does anyone know the lady with the blue top and grey pants that got 2nd with her dog?? Is she a YT member?

What fun to see all those beautiful Yorkies in the same place. And GO MIKEY! I'd swear that's Tallulah when I'm trying to give her her medicine.

One question about showing dogs, though. I notice they're all wearing collars and leashes. If collars are so dangerous for toy breeds' tracheas, why are they shown this way? I know a harness would interfere with showing the beautiful coat, but if the show is for the betterment of the breed, wouldn't the safety of the dogs come first? Just wondering...

Good question. The proper placement of a show lead is high up. under the ears. Trachea would not be stressed at this placement
