One question about showing dogs, though. I notice they're all wearing collars and leashes. If collars are so dangerous for toy breeds' tracheas, why are they shown this way? I know a harness would interfere with showing the beautiful coat, but if the show is for the betterment of the breed, wouldn't the safety of the dogs come first? Just wondering... | Good question. The proper placement of a show lead is high up. under the ears. Trachea would not be stressed at this placement
