The rude comments and innuendos regarding YTCA and showing! If people don't like it, they are the ones that need to move on.

Read the standard. It's very clear. If anyone isn't sure about the wording, look at the way it was changed to make it more clear less than 3 years ago. Isn't it obvious where "it's going"? A standard doesn't won't change because some people have a trend.

Why have one if all you do is change it for trends?

The breed standard is written. I'm sorry you don't like it. There are plenty of other breeds. Maybe you should consider a breed that has a standard you like better. Maybe a parent club with your taste in dogs and goals?

Oh yes it has changed for a something different...be it coat, color or size. The only difference is the other breed clubs accepted change. When/if the "right" people get behind the parti...then just maybe one day their will at least be talks of adding a color variety.

And just who are you to tell others what to have passion for, what to love, and what to fight for? It's just as much my breed as it is yours...and I feel the parti and those who truly love the variety deserves the same rights as the traditional.

Go read the thread. You folks don't like our club, you don't like our standard, you don't like us. We (I) don't think your parti are purebreds, the rest is pretty self explanatory.

I don't think it's a fight at all, I think it's just selling puppies. Trying to get more publicity from people looking for information on the real breed.

And people trying to find people to sell puppies to. As I notice, the people in these thread always sell puppies. While all the other people, we've nothing to gain.

Interesting how you always talk about how money makes everything happen. As you have a website selling puppies with each post.

Is this the OP that starts threads to be heated? Not sure why you'll ask YTCA questions here. May I ask, which member it was that upset you so bad to have this grudge? It's like you are looking for something from a member to box them in with a reply.

The grudge is that the standard or variety as they want isn't going to change and can't box into a corner when there is nothing to back into LOL...Elle you a good one! But as I said before AKC won't add a variety to any breed and hasn't since 1945 per AKC website that was linked to this thread. AND can't add a variety without a majority vote of the "YTCA" membership and that just ain't gonna happen

As I have stated before the ytca members should police their own club! Just because someone belongs to the ytca does NOT MAKE THEM REPUTABLE OR ETHICAL! You know as well as I do, if I post names on this site I am doomed, lol! Good try though.

You talk about your precious standard, when you all can take your yorkie into the ring without coloring or any other enhancing your standard may mean something. I have seen it all while I was showing! The standard is a joke when the people who make the standard enhance their dogs to show them!

This thread is very interesting.

This is on the YTCA website. I hadn't heard of Parti Color Yorkies until I came on YT, so I have been looking for some info about them. Came across this:

Yorkshire Terrier Club of America (Awards)

I also came across a breeder's website that says:

"Parti Color Yorkies have been accepted and registered by the AKC as Yorkshire Terrier, Parti Color for the past 10 years."

This seems to be a bit misleading. If parti-colors were accepted wouldn't it have read that they were registered as Parti Colored Yorkshire Terriers?? Were they just registered as Yorkshire Terriers and where the color is put on the form they just put Parti-Color??

Can you image going to members of any breed club expecting them to make changes to suit your taste? Especially when you knew the club viewed your taste as unethical?

It's just about selling puppies. None of this would fly.

Well they aren't going to change the standard because I like a leggier yorkie and they aren't going to change if I were to ask hey lets make the standard to say up on leg because it's the flavor of the month and my taste, it's just not going to happen. I happen to like a medium colored yorkie just as much as the dark steel blue but they ain't changing it...I think the black and tan yorkie has a very good structure and say if I wanted to say lets make the black a variety it's just NOT gonna happen. So, therefore I strive for what the standard calls for
And you won't see me getting all up in a dander because my preferred color isnt' a variety. I love the standard yorkie the way it is

Paranoia will destroy ya. I didn't ask who you were, I asked the members name. Based on what I've seen in your posts, it probably wasn't them. If they were so bad and you were so ethical you would most likely stand alone. I don't challenge you. I asked in a kind way. You can read my posts, I do not beat around the bush.
I'm done with this thread, I'm a little slower to catch on. You can't use me and everyone else as your sounding box for cheat shots. I haven't seen how you would "like" much of anything.

Not to mention, putting down the club and it's members? Why you know site is Yorkietalk and if you'd like to reach YTCA members, the percentage that ever read this is so very small.

You know what you're doing. I don't know or care of your identity. I don't ask people's identity. But if you're going to tell tales and expect any credibility, you must reveal names of the people you say this about or it will be a lie for many many people.
