all i know is that you can certainly "enhance" the appearance of your dog's head with it and can balance out head that might not be the best with the size of the poof.

bingo. There's no perfect dog.

I don't know any of you from Adam. Some user names stand out because of the messages they post. This was one of them.
So this is what you felt I needed to report to the YTCA? Jeez, well at least I know what it's all about now.

And one of the first things my pro handler said to me when he specialed Magic, well glad to see a few gray hairs, at least you and judge know there is no coloring going on. We have dQ'd if there is a white patch on chest greater than a certain diameter, and the only acceptable color is black or black with some grey hairs. In summertime as we are in the sun alot with training and hiking I will use a color wash to protect the black from going reddish from the sun plus an SPF cream from Plush Puppy which is really great in protecting the coat from sun damage.
I forgot there are color washes.......And sun does damage coat color, at times turning the coat color reddish.....

I guess we should all take this as a reminder to watch what we write on a public forum and move on.

Sadly, I can now understand why exhibitors are sometimes reluctant to answer some of the questions that I ask. They are probably afraid to answer in case they have it come back to haunt them. Thankfully, I have a great mentor but I always like to get answers from as many as possible.

I've been told more than once to keep a low profile on the internet, I have a wise mentor. There's a reason why alot of the long time exhibitors/breeders don't trust anyone anymore. It's sad.

I was always taught by mentor be careful what you say about some one, as it'll will come back to haunt you as one not to do business with.

ETA That is the reason you see chalk flying in the grooming areas. They are removing the excess with a brush and a blow dryer.
My bad, I was going by the YTCA's code of ethics #7 before the change and I guess as the old saying goes hard to teach an old dog new tricks LOL...I have gone by experience of what I've seen judges do in the ring, what judges have said and what our code of ethics have said...I've seen judges speak about foreign substances, having a judge complain about hairspray being in the top knot and actually you better not take a dog in his ring with hairspray in the top knot with the Judge Dr. Berdnt because he won't hesitate to excuse you from the ring.
I can't tell ya how many times I see the shizhu people use a black marker on the black points just above their eyes, use brown chalk to brighten up the gold of most of the tan breeds ect...to me that is just cosmetic beauty enhancement and if one uses an enhancement product on a yorkie to fill in a small spot so what? As long as it's not hurting the dog and not used as an overall cover up what's the problem...as I've said many, many times the health and over all structure of the dog is of the utmost importance.
I've seen FAR WORSE of misconduct being done that an enhancement is the least of our worries...
As others have posted I have great mentors. We are all human and I guess as humans we make mistakes, break rules, rebel...just like dogs, humans aren't perfect either...get over it, move on...if you have a problem with someone take it up with them privately and own up to what your agenda is and don't hide behind a screen name....

and one more thing....I do say things do not bother me but I have to admit I'm wrong...what does bother me is when I see someone hiding behind a screen name with a vendetta and not owning up to what their beef is...I am who I am and everyone knows what I stand for I am up front, blunt and to the point. I don't like cowards...that is a pet peeve of mine..LOL...one may not like me and visa versa but I don't hide and run...even if I don't like the way it's going...

Not always true. Chalk is used to absorb moisture as well. Anytime you uuse caulk it flies. You either need a powder puff, brush or something to pat it in.

What are you AFTER? Please just ask for it. You aren't lending anything, just attacking. Your posts are confrontational. Why is that?

Great female. You can always find a better dog to breed her to . Don't buy him, breed to him.
