| ![]() Its illegal to dock tails here in the UK, so I've never seen a yorkie with a docked tail in 'real life' - just some pics of the gorgeous girls and boys here on YT ![]() ![]()

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | ![]() The tail is cute..I mean what is not to love about a yorkie. But I do have to say I prefer no tail. I love to see that little nub twitching.

Yorkie Talker | ![]() Hi all! First off I'm a newbie to this site. My baby is 10 months old. I got her from a breeder who is registered with CKC, and Bella, (that's my baby), does not have her tail docked, or her ears standing up, or her dew claws removed. First of all, that is how she was when we brought her home at 8 weeks old. Second of all, I just feel that it would hurt too much and I don't believe in it. I'm not going to show her or anything. But she looks so cute with her little ears down and her furry little tail blowing in the wind. LOL Anyway, here's a pic of her in a dress we bought her a few days ago. |

Yorkie Talker | ![]() We just had her groomed for the very first time the other day. Unfortunately, she was more matted than I thought. She wasn't tolerating brushing very well. Anyway, the groomer was VERY good and patient. It was an all day process, working in 10-15 minute segments so as not to overstress her. But she ended up getting shaved, although not down to the skin. She was able to keep her tail furry and her face. I guess you would call it a lion cut. But she does look soooo cute. As soon as I can take a pic of her I will post it. |

| ![]() I think both ways are stunning! My Show Yorkshire Terriers I had imorted from Hungary as puppies have tails and they are adorable. I would like it to be changed so our babies would not have the tails docked. When I think of the pain! But either way I "love" Yorkies. |

| ![]() Its hard to get use to the full tail. I prefer the docked tail but I think that is because we see that so much. And on a little dog and is a big tail till they like grow into that tail. But I think both are cute and we have lots of members that have full tails. So you get use to seeing it both ways.

| ![]() I actually own a yorkie with a tail. At first I didn't realize they weren't supposed to have one. I was searching for one in my area and found her from a lady that has a purebred yorkie and was watching a friends yorkie and they ended up getting together and had an accident litter so she didn't know to dock the tails I assume since she was not a breeder. I tried uploading picture of her but keeps giving error. |
