At least he wins money!!! Jan is sick so I am stopping by to see her. I may stay tonight and go to TN tomorrow or go to Galtinburg and rent the Honeymoon suite for me and the dogs like I did when I was showing in Knoxville. I love to travel alone. I can sit down with my sketch book and not have to speak to anyone - pure heaven!

| ![]() I am back, no problems with the snow......there isn't much left. I was expecting 4 inches.....yea right...in TN?? No way, we probably got all of 1.5inches.....but, apparently, people listened more to the news reports because there were several yorkies that did not show up. I was happy to see finally one of Brenda's yorkies(Starwood), and a few Renaissance yorkies, which I like a lot....all in all it was a nice show.... Dee, well, I have been known to talk to whoever will talk to me....today, I went up to the judge and asked her a question about temperment, and how important behavior was to the judge.......she was very nice....and explained that she wanted the puppy to "act like a Yorkie, fearless" but that she did need to see the front, back and side movement at somepoint in the ring....but that she did like the "attitude" as well.......she was very very nice.......of course, when you take a puppy in the ring.....it seems that "that in itself is risky...LOL" Thanks to everyone who helped me get there on time today.....I cannot believe I totally forgot this show, and it is in my backdoor....LOL Well, I am off to Atlanta...so I wont be back at the show tomorrow.....unless I win the raffle prize!!! Haha ha... Thanks again. Shirley |

| ![]() Shirley - that is right: about the fearless attitude. I think that is why Gigi did so well and finished in record time - she loves the ring and has that "I am soooo cute, Look at me" attitude. I have one girl that is drop dead gorgeous and what a body and movement, but without that attitude - she would not do much in the ring. Glad you were able to get to the show. T. |

| ![]() Oh I agree I think attitude is a must. I remember taking Strut to our handlers house, and Strut just literally felt at home and he strutted his butt right into the dog room and David laughed because most dogs are a bit nervous when going to a home with dogs but Strut acted like he owned the place. Strut finished at 12 months the only show weekend he went out with the handler that he didn't win was Columbus Ohio and I remember the ohh and awwwss around the ring because so many people including us thought he was going to take it he didn't but he showed so well and looked great so we were thrilled to the max that he was our homebred boy anyway without the win, but the next few weekends he won every day and finished fast and I wasn't sure about his age if that would hurt him but he shined and you couldn't ignore that confidence he had. The attitude does shine thru sometimes mine have too much attitude and I have had judges tell me to go back and take them around again but slow him down this time, that was Squeakers he only came with one speed ROFL but he won that day. Struts mom was like your girl Tina, she would get in the ring and look beautiful and stand there like OK you know it I am IT, and I am NOT WALKING rofl. She got excused and she ended up a beautiful couch potato. Deana Prestigeous |

| ![]() Oh I forgot, today at the show at the Chris Christensen booth if you buy a pair of scissors, then you can get ANY brush for FREE......now that I came home, I wish I had bought the scissors.......urggggggggg They were the Model 107 for 130.00 and I would have picked the CC fusion oblong for my free brush.....which if you bought the brush it would run you about 50 dollars. So if anyone goes by the booth tomorrow......and need a new pair of scissors...it is a great deal.......since the scissors are over 100 on their website...... I am just kicking my butt right now.....I just had 100 with me and forgot the ol credit card..... |

I ordered the shears from CC and didn't get a free brush. feel cheated!!! I bought a brush and comb in Frankin and got the free shampoo/conditioner travel set. I was talking to the guy at the booth and he said that Chris was working on lots of new products. One was something to remove eye stains that really work. The Fusion brushes are really nice but I still like my Greyhound brushes best. I guess we are creatures of habit! Have you guys bought the CC Teaser comb? It work great on topknots.

| ![]() Hey Laurie, Good to know you made it safely. Did you pick up your new pups yet? Is the snow bad? Be careful out there!
