Yes, I have new pups!! It was a long 8 hour drive home. I finally got in this morning at 3AM. After the show I had to visit as many Civil War sites as I could and stop at the Coach outlet. It was a wonderful trip. Dogs, history and a new bag. Throw in a man an it would have been perfect!!!!!

Saleswman - you are lucky to live in such a beautiful place.

Who is showing in Louisville? I am just trying to decide if I want to try the hike up there.

I just talked with someone and she said the entry was very low considering it was a Specialty. It still be would be worth the trip. I think there are good dogs entered.

I was just looking at the Louisville Kennel Club. Is this the one you guys here are talking about?? It isn't is it? If not what one are U talking about and where is it??? Has the Yorkies showed yet as of today??? We would like to go. Is there a link U can go to for the dates and judging??? Below is the link I found this at.

Here is a link to the judging schedule for the shows in Louisville starting this Wednesday with the Yorkshire Terrier Kennel Club followed by the all breed shows Thurs-Sun.

Thanks so much, I'll take a peek, I'd like to go while my girls are in school, might see if one of the older girls will be here to get them off the bus! As far as snow it's 52.7 here @ 6:30 pm and it's so sunny out our snow (a foot) is almost all gone, I'd say by Wed in Louisville it will all be gone their callin' for it to be 67 Thur. there in Louisville so it will be beautiful!! I just hope I can get it all together so maybe we can go!!! Wish us luck!!! Thanks so much and Hugs

Yes, those are the times for the all breed show. Look at page 18 and that is the judging schedule for the Yorkshire Terrier Speciality, if you keep scrolling down further you will see the actual judging schedules for each day.

Tami, Gosh I wish U could go, I'd love to meet U in person and give U a hug for all U've done for us!!! U truely are a great person and so helpful to me!!! I'm so so so excited!!! I wanted to get U're guys thoughts on what day we should go to the show...I ask Tami what day she would go. I'm thinkin' of going on Wed or Thur.
Wed is the is the Combined Specialty Clubs of Louisville with the Yorkies started showing at 2 pm. (Correct me if I'm wrong here, I could be wrong on the times)

Thur. Mid-Kentucky Kennel Club, Inc. WIth the Yorkies started showing at 10:45 am. (Correct me if I'm wrong here, I could be wrong on the times)

If U guys had to choose between the two day which ones would U choose??? Please help me here, this would be our 1st show ever to go to and I'm so very excited!!! Hugs

If I had a choice I would go on Wednesday because it will be less crowded and you would have more time to visit with other Yorkie people. If you are not a member of the local Yorkshire Terrier Club then it might be a good opportunity meet some of the members and possibly join. They could probably use your support.

I do not recommend taking dogs to the show that are not entered and it is usually requested that you do not but I know some people do it anyway. You could be exposing your dogs to some unknown virus that sometimes goes around at shows.
