He's in the Missouri City, TX animal shelter; at least, he was. I'm so happy about the mostly clean bill of health he received today. I pick him up at 7:30 in the morning and will let you guys know more about him.

I thought the same thing about his eyes. The vet did bathe him and said they cleaned up his eyes. He'll be sporting a new "do" after I get him to the groomer this weekend. This little guy sure has a surprise in store for him living here. Since my son left, it's just me and the furbabies. Now I'll have three to cuddle up with at night! Woo-Hoo!

Hey everyone! Just checking in to let you know that Harry (after my sweet grandfather) is doing just fine. He's a little skiddish, which is to be expected. If I go up to him, he backs off, but eventually comes to me. He tries to jump into the recliner, but just doesn't have the oomph to do it and it takes a few tries for him to let me pick him up. He did fine in the bed last night and I woke up this morning to three little angels all curled up around me (who needs a man?!?!). His eyes are huge after getting them cleaned up. He spent most of the evening curled up next to me on the recliner just enjoying the pet session. Thanks to everyone for their well wishes. I'm supposed to be getting a digital camera soon (from a friend) and will post pics as soon as I can. Jacki

Boy, what a difference a few days make. This little guy has the most beautiful eyes you've ever seen. Never would've guessed from the "before" photos. Just four days of medication has made such a difference. He's learned to navigate the doggie door and even met me at the gate this evening when I got home. Not to mention, he RAN to meet me! He's made it very clear to Chloe and Darla that his place is next to me in the recliner. Darla doesn't seem to mind (only 8 mos old), but Chloe is a little more jealous. She's getting used to him though and is more friendly every day. I'm sorry it's taking me so long to get "after" photos, but I want to take him to the groomer first and this weekend just wasn't long enough for me to get everything done. Thanks for all your prayers. Jacki, Harry and the Girls

Harry must think that he has died and gone to heaven with all the loving attention he is getting from you and the girls. Thank god you got him out of the shelter. Congratulations on your newest furbaby. Jay
