Looking for good home for my yorkie

She just turned 6 years old in June. she is spayed and up to date on vaccines. she is a very sweet loveable dog that needs lots of love and attention. I have had her for about 4 years now. She was a friend of mines dog who could no longer keep her.

she is very pretty and small. she just got weighed at the Vets where I just took her to get her nails trimmed. she weighed 4 3/4 pounds

I am in no rush to rehome her. I just want to find her the perfect home. I will keep her and take care of her until I can find her just the right home.

i just want to add that she hates riding in the car. she really really hates it. she will start panting and just will not relax in the car. she came to me like this when she was 2 years old and i have never been able to break her of this. so my preference is to find her a home that is not too long a car ride away. the closer the better .. but i'm thinking no more than a couple hours drive away

Sadly I am too far away... maybe your vet could prescribe something calming for her trip... hope you find a nice home for her.

Elaine, have you contacted Yorkies Inc? They would make sure she was placed in the right family. I adopted my Winston from them. Kerri is a member here on YT, her name is Tae1107

no, i'm not famiar with Yorkies Inc. thank you for your suggestion. maybe i will check them out but right now i would like her to stay with me for as long as it takes to find her a great home.

thank you , i'm still looking but am in no rush. as long as it takes should be fine. she is happy here.

( and , its not just because she doesn't like car rides that I want to find her a home closeby... there are some other reasons too... one of which is that if for any reason, things don't work out... I want her to come back to me )

thank you. however long it takes is fine for now. she is happy here with me and her Chihuahua sisters
