She is indeed a precious gem! :) Perfect description of her. Last night before she went to sleep she all at once started licking my hand. It was so touching...I felt like she was showing how much she appreciates being cared for.

She knows who is taking care of her, loving her, and giving her nice soft beds to sleep in, along with great food. They know!:)

He is a sweetie, isn't he? Even though he sometimes leaves marks. :p He is doing really well, Megan! He is still on pain meds, but seems to be feeling pretty chipper today!

He can be your special friend. I guess...... :p I just fell in love with him seeing how much love he has to give and how far he has come along his journey, to see him snuggle and bond with someone brings hope to my heart, if I had gone through what Matty did I don't think I could forgive people. But that's why God made dogs perfect:).

haha....Megan met Matty....she loves him and my other testy boy, Tommy, who she calls a "drive by butt nipper" :D . He is a bad one....actually sits and stares at the other pups and then will do a charge at one, nipping as he passes by. He does not hurt them, but just likes to irritate. I have quite a crew of characters.

I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Matty yet but when Linda first told me his story I was in tears. He has to be such a brave, strong little boy to get through what he did. You said it so beautifully Megan....I don't think I could forgive either. Since you know him 'personally', I think you deserve the title of being his 'special friend.' :D I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for him though!

Matty can be OUR special friend and we can all be over the moon when he finds a forever loving home, just for him where he can continue to be loved and spoiled.

Gabby deserves the same, as do all the pups out there needing some love.

Why I am in this gushy mood today is beyond me... usually I'm so rare!

You all are so kind. Just remember, there are rescuers all over who do this day in and day out! I am not unique. :)

The other thing is that I am retired and that gives me the time needed for such a venture. :)

Linda-I am late to reply, good friend died Tuesday night, and Wednesday, another good friend broke his leg.

So glad to hear she is up and about. I have been away for a week and when I saw she wasn't walking......but finally caught up and see things are better. At least it is being determined what the problem is.
