Thanks for the update on Sunny. Once you get him home you should post a few new pictures not that he is doing so well. :)

There are some pics on the YHR website from November. One of them is marking "improving" and shows his improvement as of then.

I have a lot of pups at present, some of whom have been very ill and I am not always spending a lot of time online. I spend a lot of time at the groomer and the vet and in between bathing pups, giving meds and then, trying to get ready for Christmas. I am so behind on Christmas but that I guess should not be a priority. OK..sorry to sound whiny. Anyone have some cheese? :p

I try to keep their bios as up to date as possible on the website, so people might want to also check there. :) I will definitely try to get some on here when I get some. No promises, though, because, as I said, I am busier lately than anyone can imagine.

hahahah NO THANKS! You go dodge pit bulls all day... I will stay safely tucked away with my yorkies :D

Oh..and I am getting Sunny D tomorrow morning!!!! He will be with us for Christmas! Cannot wait to see him again!

I just cannot imagine how busy you are, with all those pups and all those tasks. But, bless you for taking care of all the little ones. Also, so excited that you are getting Sunny D for Christmas. Whoohoo! :D

Sunny is with me. I had a horrible morning. I was feeding all of the pups and had a 9:30 appt scheduled for Ozzy and Sunny. Ozzy was my CT pup. At 6:50 AM Ozzy started choking and just went limp in my arms....I knew he was gone :( ....I rushed him into my car and gave him chest compressions all the way to the vet. They intubated him and gave him oxygen, but he was gone. I am just heartsick. It happened so fast...I think I am still in shock. Anyway...I got myself together and took Sunny in and then took him to be groomed. I will try to post an update on the site and on here later and put some pics up.

I am so sorry that you have now lost yet another pup this year. Having just lost Truman last week I know just how hard it is when they pass to the Rainbow Bridge. :( I tried to look at it with a positive spin that they are now free of their pain and we gave all our hearts to them but it still hurts. :(

RIP little man you were loved till the very end.

As promised, pics of Sunny D! His that large open area on his back had healed and he has hair there......I did not realize he still had an awful rash. I am posting a pic of his skin...and a pic of him today after he went to the groomer. He also went to my vet and is starting new medications that will hopefully clear up his rash.
He has adjusted well to my home already! :)

Thank you....he has a darling face! My groomer does such a great job...I think he looks adorable now.
I think he already does like it here...he has been running around with the others all day! He settled right in without any issues at all.

I am so very, very sorry about Ozzy. Sending hugs and sympathy.

Sunny D. is looking really great. Isn't it funny how the hair grows in so dark from the bald area? (Piccolo did that too, when her hair started growing back, from her skin problems.) Love his new "do" and thanks for posting the pictures.

It has been a while now and Sunny D is doing terrific! Thought some of you would enjoy seeing his new pics. He has been on Melatonin since April and it really is helping with hair growth!

Thanks all! This is what I love about rescue...when we can show people the gems that can be found in the shelters. All they need is a little love and care and they all blossom! :)

New picture of Sunny D! This is a pic of him sitting in the stroller .... I had him and a couple others at the groomer today. The picture quality is not terrific...taken with my blackberry...but still......Isn't he just beautiful?? :)

What, you at the groomers! No way!!! lol You live at the groomers and the vet...People, everytime I call Linda, at least once a day, she is heading to the groomers or vet. We love what you do Linda!!! You Rock....
