| Take a look for yourself.... THIS is what we see in rescue day in and day out. This poor little guy was sent to me today. The shelter sent this message: This little guy was abandoned at an area post office with a sign saying “I need a home.” He appears to have a burn on his back with a lot of hair loss. Our guess would be he’s 4/5 years old, maybe older; he is not neutered. If you can help rescue him please contact us. Thank you, Someone made a remark that all rescuers dislike breeders. That is so far from the truth!. Who I dislike is anyone who would harm an animal. I will not even discuss such nonsense with people carrying such thoughts. Tells me that perhaps that is the way that they think...why else would they even suggest such a generalization? Sadly, there are breeders, rescuers and people not involved in either who do the wrong things day in and day out. I speak up to anyone who harms an animal and if it happens to be a rescuer, they get double the wrath....they should not call themselves rescuers if they are harming animals. I do not discriminate in my dislike of people who harm animals. And...yes, we will see what we can do to help him. We don't have any foster openings in LA where he is, but we will do our best to find someone for him.

| Breaks your heart. I had a terrier mix I rescued from the local pound with a cigarette burn on his leg. He was afraid of men, you can guess why. Eventually he accepted the men in the family but the postman didn't stand a chance in he$$. LOL I hope this sweetie finds his forever home and is pampered to death. He so deserves it. Thank you rescuer's for seeing each homeless dog get's a home. |

| OMG Linda, What ever I can do to help I will, it takes a big heart to do what you do no question. The tame shows on AP are enought to get me worked up, If I ever saw an animal in destress like the poor guy you are about to take in I dont know that I would be able to speak. Please let me know about him, I need to help.

I don't think we can take him in. We are just so full right now as are most of the rescues lately. I am hoping that Robin will know someone in LA who can help him. We seriously need more foster homes. I just cannot understand how someone could just dump him with a sign on him. But, then, people dump yorkies every day. People really do not believe it, but honestly I could find at least one yorkie in a shelter in TX on any given day. I cannot tell you how many people I meet who do not understand that people will dump a pure bred dog as quickly as a mix...matters little to them. And of course we have owner surrenders coming in at about 4/week....that is just the ones who complete the form. We also get emails. It is awful ... and lately applications are way down for everyone.

| Oh my gosh! That poor dog. No telling what kind of torture he has been through. Where I live, we are limited to 2 dogs, which I already have, so I am no help there. I hope you are able to find a home for him. Poor little guy.

I know....I felt sick when I opened this one. We had two others today that we had to turn away. One with a totally messed up mouth...only 2.5 pounds ... and another with knee issues. At least they are still with their owners...not standing at a post office with a sign on them. Just never ends. I totally do not get how people don't take care of their pets.
