| Rehome in Southern California Jack needs to be the only dog in a home. He is perfect in every other way. House trained, pee pad trained, great on a leash and in the car. He is right in the middle of his swim lessons! My husband is insisting he goes after his latest run in with Mia. Jack weights 10 pounds. UTD on shots, neutered. Loving boy. sorry to see him have to go. Affordable re home fee to the right home. In the second picture Jack is the dog on the right. This is very hard for me so please no flames. |

| I am so sorry! I remember looking at his photo in the Pictures forum and how happy you were. I will pray that you find just the right home for him. May I ask what type of 'run ins' he was having with Mia?

| Yes you can ask. They were playing fine and last night he pinned her to the ground by her neck, and would not let go. She was yelping, crying and peed herself. He has done this before in play, but last night I had to lift him off, and held him up in the air just to get him to release her. It was so aggressive and I know he was just playing hard, just too frightening to think Mia could get hurt. If they were more evenly sized, or if Mia was tougher it could work. He is a sweet dog, but after that husband saw that he said re home him, that dog is gone! He has toppled her a few times while they were playing. She is small boned, he is large. We don't want to keep him isolated, and we do not want her to get hurt. I have had lots of emails for him already, I have one family in my area really interested. I am interviewing people, and want to keep him in the area if I can. Visitation rights you know!! |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i'm sorry you have to rehome him. I don't think anyone will flame you for it (but then again there has been a lot of rudeness lately). You are doing the right thing by looking out for both your dogs wellbeing. I hope you find him a great new home where he has playmates his own size or none at all so he can be the only spoiled child. Good Luck

| This must be so hard for you. I am surprised to read that a male would do this to a female. I always thought the two opposite sexes got along. I feel bad for you. I wonder why he would do this. Just a thought since somewhere down the road I am hoping to get a sister for Buddy. |

| Believe me I was surprised he would do this to Mia also. She still wants to be in there next to him. She loves the boys. He must be super jealous. Thanks for all of the kindness. yes it is really hard to do this. I am praying he will go to a great home. My daughters sister in law, say that fast 10 times, just sent me a message. She may want him. They live in a wonderful area with a huge yard. I hope they can get him. Then I can visit him!! |

| The family thing is not working out. Too bad. I had a lady respond to me with pictures of her yard, where she runs her dogs, and then we spoke on the phone. She had recently lost a yorkie, loves the breed, uses Ceasar Milan training. Has a dog treadmill that she used in the past for her dog. She is a retired woman, that will be home all day with the dog. She is disabled and really needs the company. She is driving 2 hours tonight with her son to come get him. When we spoke on the phone I knew it was right. She was telling me the answers to all the questions I would ask before I had a chance to ask. You know sometimes how you just know it is right. I am looking forward to meeting her, and see how Jack likes her. Keep your fingers crossed, we may have found him a home. She even has utube videos of her working with her dogs, and training them. This is great. |

| Jack has been placed in a home and I can not believe how fast it all happened. He has gone to a home with 2 women and one older son that pops in once in a while to help out. The women are older (LOL my age!) and have some physical disabilities that are minor. Their day seems to revolve around caring for their dog. Their dog passed away, and they are on a fixed income so they are happy to get a yorkie at a good price. They live about an hour and a half from me and promise to send pictures regularly. They also said I can come visit when ever I want to. I just felt like it was a good mix. Jack loved the son, and was warming up to momma . She said she prayed all day that I would change my mind from the original person, and that is exactly what happened. I cried a little when he left, but I believe he will be loved and cared for in their home too! Wonder if they mind if I call them every day!! Hello its me again, how is Jack doing now? And now, and now! |

I'm so glad you found him a good home. I'm gonna miss the lil guy....but, as you said and I'm with you, lil Mia Sopapilla comes first. Mmmm by the way I noticed that she needs an afternoon at the spa.

| Last post on this.... I just got an email from Jacks new mommies. I might say it was the longest wonderfully detailed letter I could ever hope for. Jack is eating well, slept well and is adjusting wonderfully. He had his first walk on a treadmill, was hand fed and is using the doggie door. He is in the city where such a luxury is safe. They do have a yorkie that is a female and she is 10 pounds herself. Jack and Ms Buddy are getting along wonderfully. He has bonded with their older son that is visiting. Lucky Jack to be loved by so many! My heart is so happy with this re-home. I have visiting rights, and they have promised pictures and videos in the near future! |
