| I am going to talk to DH about it some more but I am sure that he will agree on us taking him in until a loving home can be found. I don't want to see this guy euthanized but again, I am in Pennsylvania and he is in Indiana. So unless we are able to come up with a yorkie train... I am not going to be able to do much.

My heart is breaking for this boy... and the others listed here that are in kill shelters. He shouldn't be there. My worries are this: I fear that by the time we get something together as far as a Yorkie Train goes, it may be too late. If you are willing to foster Webster until a home is found for him, it may be the best way to go. You are fairly close to where this boy is, whereas I am 8 hours just to your city. I just don't want to see him Euthanized just because he peed on the carpet. Lets get this one figured out so that one of us can call tomorrow to discuss this with Suzanne.

| Sadly I jumped the gun with fostering. I spoke with megansmomma regarding this and I must go through an and application, approval process including home and vet check through her rescue organization. That being said, it will all take time that this little guy just doesn't have right now. I am still willing to help out however I can, but didn't realize at this point fostering was not an option because there is more to it than raising my hand and saying "I want to be a foster"! |

| I just called the shelter. This yorkie is NOT in danger of being euthanized. They will either adopt him out or send him to a rescue. They have my telephone number if needed. I was told that someone called saying they represent Yorkie Haven. Please do not do that. It is not the proper way to get a pup from a shelter. If you want to adopt, then say so and follow their rules. This is a sure fire way to sabotage getting a pup out of a shelter. I see that another person on this thread wanted to foster and that Megansmomma explained it all to her. Anyone who wants to foster for a rescue group, must apply to that group to foster. Most rescues do checks on people which include vet checks and also do home visits. Yorkie Talk and Yorkie Haven are not related. This forum is for rescue pups...not for Yorkie Haven! Yorkie Talk and Yorkie Haven and this forum are not related.
