| My husband and I both left very early this morning to bail the little guy out. Thank you for everyone that pulled together to make sure that he was safe in YHR care! I would also like to say a very special thank you to IzzyPrincess for donating his "bail" money! It was so kind and generous of Cyndi to want to help out! Everyone's care and concern whenever there is a little guy in need always shows in this rescue forum. First off, he has a brand new name~~~~COSMO and his picture should be on the YHR site today! He was kind of a mess when I picked him up. They had him in an outside pen/crate and it struck me as kind of odd that he was just a happy little guy. Well, we took a look at his paperwork and it turns out that it most not have really phased him to be in "Yorkie" jail because his former owners boarded him 2 times a month for three days consistanly for the past 3 years! He's spend almost as much time being boarded as he did at his home. No wonder why he was not housebroken! But on the upside, they did need to keep him current on vaccines so that he could spend all of his time being boarded. Come to think of it he's kind of like the rich kids who are sent away to boarding school. Just a little more info about Cosmo.....he loved the car ride, walks great on a leash, get along with Pebbles, Bogey and Truman. Let's just say that Doodlebug needs to learn some manners. When I got him home I decided that he really needed a bath. He has really bad tear stains and his eye boogers almost had his eyes sealed closed. He was even a good boy for his bath, blow dry and combing/brushing. Since RIPMyLittleCase (Jenny) is fostering him, maybe she will stop by to let us all know how his is doing with Teddy, Peanut, and Clara Bell. He is going to make someone very happy when he is adopted. I am so glad that we were able to get him out of Yorkie jail and that he will have a wonderful life from now on. I sent a picture to LadyJane to get on the website so follow the link in my signature to check out his picture and bio.
