| I just called for this poor baby, and ofcourse they do not want to adopt out to people with small children...my youngest is 5. That aggravates me to no end but thats a whole other thread she will not be adoptable until tomorrow, they give the family time to come get her if she is in fact lost. I hope her family finds her or she ends up in a great home. To bad I couldnt help and im deemed unqualified because I have children

Well, that stinks. I would think if the dog is in a kill shelter that they would adopt out to any qualified family regardless of children. The only thing I can think of is that maybe they saw some behavior when they examined her that they wanted to be careful of. I am sorry that it didn't work out for you. It was so nice of you to try. | |

| sorry... maybe you could get your mom to adopt this dog.. then you look at it.. sort of thing.. better then allowing this baby to be killed... I know it is a lie, but it would be a good lie would it not... |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | That whole thinking doesn't make sense to me. I had tried to adopt a cat from a shelter one time and they gave me the same run around. Then the lady had the nerve to tell me I was a bad mother for wanting to give him children a pet. Boy did I ream her out. I told her I was gonna post her nasty emails on the web so everyone could see what type of a person she was running that shelter. I got so mad I called her an animal horder...lol. Sorry you got that nonsense for wanting to do a good deed and give her a good home.

| when I called this morning she told me that the dog is not available right now because they give the owners time to find her (if infact she is lost) but will be ready for adoption tomorrow. I also asked for any info on her and she said she knew nothing about her :-(
