I ordered the hardware and am waiting on them to arrive. I also will be adding silk to the line. As soon as I have them I will post to let everyone know.

Barney got an adorable silk collar made by Michelle (Peachbongi). It's so nice.
I have ordered a couple of satin ones for my dogs also and can't wait to get them. The silk collars (and I presume satin) lay so nicely on their longer length coats. Here's a photo - it's not the greatest - but the silk collar is so cute!

I did received some of the hardware this weekend. I am waiting on a second type of breakaway to arrive so I can compare the two and decide on which of the two is easier to pull apart. If you want to wait you can or I can go ahead and make your collars with the breakaways I received.

Just a quick note:
So far the manufacturers are telling me it takes up to 4lbs of pressure to release the breakaways. That tells me that the breakaway may keep your pup from hanging if his/her collar is caught on something, but will not necessarily protect them from any tracheal problems. Please remember if you dog has tracheal problems or a stint you should not use a collar. Collars are for tags and ID purposes only. NEVER walk your pup by the collar only by harnesses.

Good side note! I agree, I would never "walk" a small dog on a collar!! We use harnesses on our babies!!
As far as making them now...I would really like to have them before 10/15. We are going to a festival with the girls and I have a tag with their microchip info and their names and I would like to have the collars for that!!

I still haven't received the 2nd set of break aways. It's been 2 weeks so I'm not real sure what's the hold up.

Thanks for asking about the collars. I do still make them but, I don't do the satin anymore, just Doupioni Silk. I do have break away buckles now. Here is a picture of some of the Doupioni Silk with Swarovski Elements Crystals. You can PM me for more info.
