i just want to add i am not trying to be rude and i am sorry if i came off that way. I just feel to threaten someone with a law suit for linking to a web site is crazy We all have done it and i don't think it's fair to single out one person for trying to help other members get a good deal.

I am having a bad day and i'm sorry if i'm not my cheeryself and sorry if i offended anyone

Ok, I'm done with the drama on this thread, so I won't post on here again, it's become too twisted....

IF you were familiar with the first thread (seems like some of you aren't) I stated not once, but twice I felt TXgrl innocently made a mistake.
Again, I would not want my site being used to "advertise" a better deal. Yes, I know she was not advertising.... But to continue to defend using another's site is wrong~ before you all bash me, I am talking about in general, nothing to do with the other thread...It's a bit different when one is showing someone a good deal, and using someones site to simply show pictures of the garments. And yes price comparisions were not that hard to see...Again, I'm talking in general

Bottom line ~ I stand by my post......

I'm so confused about this thread, I didn't think it was rude or dramatic or anything?

the thing is i did apologize to her and she told me in a pm that everything was cool. right after that i went back to my thread to ask admin to close it again and i seen this huge post from her i then read it and she was pissed at me! I cant keep people from typing stuff about prices! That is their own opinions and it had nothing to do with her in general but about the prices of the internet sales vs walmart! i honestly didnt know what this dress went for when i bought it and when i found out that this brand was at walmart once i googled it i made a thread!

i know where in the thread was selling anything. I said i would pick them up one if they wanted me to and the links of the pics were to simply show what dresses were at walmart! I did pick up a few for people and i have not made a profit at all so in no case was i selling them.

Like amber said people do it here all the time and it was a honest mistake and all i can do is apologize! i dont think i stole any copyright pics because never did i copy them and use them as my own pic i simply linked a website!

Personally, I feel bad for the smaller businesses because I feel as though they got screwed over by Lulu Pink. Why would a majority of people buy a dress for $30 that they can get foe $8? I wonder if this vender let their wholesale customers know before they sold out to Wal-Mart?
All that is true. And no LuLu Pink did not let their wholesell customers know that they were going to be selling out to walmart. I e-mailed them this weekend and still haven't heard back from the yet. I am pretty upset with LuLu Pink for doing this...the dog boutique I work at still has lot of LuLu Pink stuff left from this summer and I guess we're going to have to have a major sell on all of it. But we had to pay twice as much for the products wholesale as they are being sold at walmart. I think it was pretty crappy of LuLu Pink to do this...

You didn't do anything wrong. I post links to websites all the time to show things. I believe you honestly didn't know she was a YT member and just found the pictures online to show off what you bought. Don't worry about it

I would certainly tell Lulu you need markdown dollars because you need to mark things down, they should help you out (Little inside info)

If the company LuLu Pink advised the boutique stores that their clothes were NOT going to be offered in franchise-like stores and then they did without telling them, I can understand how these stores would get upset. But if they told these boutique stores either before or after they stocked LuLu Pink, then I don't feel these boutique stores having anything to be upset about. Most people who have businesses want to make the most money they possibly can, and if selling to Walmart is the way to do it, then I would do it to.

Then in MHO the boutiques should have asked if it were that much of a problem. But on the opposite side, I can understand some places now have an oversupply of them. But, remember this...A LOT of people do not shop at Walmart anymore due to how they treat their employees, so I don't think you'd never be able to sell them.

No offense, but if a boutique is selling something for $30 they probably paid around $15 for it. It's not necessary to up the price 100%. Look at eBay sellers! They make a few dollars on every transaction, but they sell a lot. That's the way to go!

Selling an item for twice as much as wholesale is common practice in the dog clothing industry - at least at dog boutiques anyway. On eBay these sellers are trying to sell items fast and are usually selling a lot of items. They usually have to have lower prices to sell the items, especially since the buyer has to pay shipping as well. Plus, eBay reaches millions - maybe billions - of buyers. A dog boutique in a smaller city (especially without a website) isn't going to sell large quantities of items. I know we normally carry one of each size in a style and that's it. We don't order mass quantities of things but we don't sell things super fast. That's why you have to make a nice profit on an item to stay in business.

I have noticed that there is a difference between the quality of the walmart lulu pink and the boutique lulu pink. They used some cheaper materials such as rhinestones instead of crystals and different flowers. They are still very cute but I could tell a difference between a couple LuLu Pink items that Lacy got from the boutique and the ones at Walmart. There was one dress I wanted to buy but they didn't have it in her size.
