I need an advice about the seats on the plane.Since i have my puppy with me, where do you think it'll be better to seat? Next to the window or in the aisle? Front, center or back of the plane?Let me know about your experiences with your yorkies.

I think it just depends on your own preference... I was happy to sit by the window so that I wouldn't disturb many other people. I don't think it matters which part of the plane. When I flew with my friend we asked for aisle and window hoping that the center seat would be empty, that way we could put his carrier under the middle seat.

I fly quite often with Toby -- and have found out that most of the aisle seats do not have enough room under the seat for the carrier. I get real clastrophobic -- but when taking the dog -- I bite the bullet and ask for a window seat!

Can you take the Yorkie out of the crate during the flight if you want? I have been thinking about taking My Toby on a domestic flight and was just wondering.

I think it totally depends on the flight - On the jet Blue flight I was on with Buddy I tried to take him out of the bag briefly and the flight attendant told me to put him back. So...the short answer is "No." But, if flight attendants aren't around, you can always try for a minute - but my suggestion is to just get a bag that has a top zipper - that way you can put the bag on your lap and pet your pup through the top of the carrier. Once you let the pup out, he or she might not want to get back in!

I'd go with an aisle or middle seat, just because everytime I take a window seat I find that the wall of the plane is very cold and your baby might catch a chill.

I just brought Annie back from TN this past week. I intentionally requested the aisle seat, just incase there was a problem & I need to get to out. It is also true that you are not to take them out during the flight, however as mentioned some airlines will allow you to. I almost think it depends on size and who notices. Back to the aisle seat it is true for some reason there is not very much room under that seat! My Celltei carrier fit perfectly, however there was no room for my very small tote bag. On the other hand the center & window seat had more than enough room for both to fit. Go figure. I would say look at how long you will be on the plane and the age of your fb. For me it was nice to know that I could easily slip out without bothering anyone else, if I needed to.
