Well I just purchased the WizDog. As soon as it gets here I will try it out. Hopefully this will solve our upstairs issue.

I thought about buying Wiz Dog but instead I went to the pet store & bought a kitty "litter trapper mat". It's pretty much the same thing but I paid $13 (it's $10 on Petco website). No more wet paw tracks though the kitchen. And Riley can't tear up the newspaper.

Buddy does really well with his WizDog, though it's not the most fun when he has diarrhea but I just pop it in the tub and spray it down and it's fine. Poopy's mom has it right - I spray it a bit with Natures Miracle and use a paper towel to wipe it off between cleanings. One thing I found is great - once he or she is past the pad-ripping-up phase - I put the pad in the bottom of the tray of the WizDog and no more "missing" the pad (he has a tendency to pee on the very edges of any pad or the Wizdog) Here is a cute photo of him when he was a brand new puppy and still kind of unclear on the concept ("hi mom, this is a great place to sit!")

Well, I finally got my Wiz Dog and Kiki will not go on it. He really enjoys going outside. He just looks at it and then at me as if to say. PLEASE!

I was just wondering how everyone was doing with there wizdog's. I see several of you were ordering them. Are your dogs using them? Do they work as well as you had hoped? I was thinking about purchasing one but know that sometimes this stuff sounds better than it actually is.

that's such a great idea. poopy keeps peeing at the edge and it ends up outside the wizdog at times. he's still chewing so i'll wait to do what you did. although it gets a bit frustrating when he pees on the edge, i can't help but think it is so cute when he goes poo and his bottom is hanging off the edge and misses...he really does mean to go on it though...he just has bad aim i guess. haha | |
