the wizdog is so good... I just wanted to let those who are interested in indoor training your lil yorkie that i highly recommend the wizdog. i bought one for poopy and he is practically potty trained. we also recently went to california on a trip and brought the wizdog along with us. he actually remembered to go inside the wizdog. we put him in his crate at night and the first thing in the morning we open it and tell him to go tinkle and would walk over to it and do his thing. we loved it a lot because i hate to go outside at night or in the morning. so it worked out.

Hello, I got mine from the wizdog.com site and to keep the puppies from chewing up their wee wee pads, the wee wee pads sit inside the wizdog bottom and then the grate sits over the top, hence keeping the puppies from stepping in their own urine and from chewing up the wee wee pads... At least that is what I hope...

i'm so glad to hear that so many ppl are buying it too. at first i was nervous but poopy caught on pretty quick and it really does work for us. Poopy used to try to tear apart the pee wee pads and i'd have to tape it down to the floor or a box, but he'd still step in it and i'd also waist so much tape and time doing that. the grate really helps him from stepping in the urine and his paws stay clean. thank you also for welcoming me to YT.com. i love it hear.

I Bought the wizdog a year ago, and i did not like it.. well actually my yorkies didn't enjoy it.. they were frightened of it, and did not like the feel of the grate on their feet. after i slowly introduced the wizdog to them, they totally started peeing everywhere but the wizdog.. they know to pee/poo on the pad.. so i just decided to get rid of the wizdog, and they were happy.. it's good to know that it actually worked for other people though!

| I like the idea of something that looks somehow "neater" and more structured than just a pee pad.... ....but, uh, doesn't the grate start getting gunked up with poo residue, over time?!

It does get a bit yucky if i don't clean it often so i make an effort to spray some of the urine pet remover stuff on it every once in a while until cleaning. when cleaning i just spray some bathroom cleaner on it and wait a bit and then rinse. it's nice cuz i dont have to scrub it at all. it returns good as new.

WizDog I just read on here about the WizDog. Very interesting. I got our Roxie trained to go outside. She eithers goes thru the screen door when it is left opened for the flys to come in or she looks out the glass door to be let out. Keep in mind I have to catch her looking out the door or ut oh. Been pretty lucky so far. My trouble is when she is upstairs with us. When she has to go she has to go and being upstairs it is a ways out to the outside door for her. I agree sometimes it is a pain in the butt to take her out in the rain and cold weather. Roxie turns 7 mos. tomorrow and was wondering if she is to old to dual train by using the WizDog and outdoors. Any thoughts? I tried the pee pads but she just rips them up like yesterday's dessert. Thanks.

I think I will try. It never hurts and this would be so wonderful having the best of both potty worlds.
