| daisy *hates* not being able to feel something under her feet, so that would not be an option for us. however, if your doggie doesn't mind and isn't uncomfortable, then go for it. i have a puchi bag for daisy that's a little too femme for my bf to tote her around in, but they have a lot of other styles to chose from such as messenger bags (http://www.puchibag.com/type_mailbagcarrier.htm) and backpacks (http://www.puchibag.com/type_backpack.htm)that can be perceived as being more masculine. http://www.puchibag.com/index.html

| Fifi and Romeo Hello, That carrier looks mean and uncomfortable... I got a really nice one at Fifi and Romeo in Los Angeles. They'll custom make them for you in any fabric you want... They're kinda expensive ($650-$1K) but are especially made for your doggie and are very functional and comfortable. I believe they have a website: www.fifiandromeo.com Good Luck! |

| Hello there! Holy Smokes, I don't think that fits my budget but if you got it! I carry my two in a bag and they don't even like that so I'm sure that the puppy purse would definitely be a no go! |

| I agree, when I saw these things I was shocked. I think it would hurt to be carried around like that. Poor babies. They are not purses, just get a leash |

| From a different point of view. I am a short person. When I sit in a chair and my feet don't touch the floor it HURTS!!!! And it makes me feel really uncomfortable and SHORT! Now, I don't mind being short, I just want all two of my feet touching something. Hope you are able to find a "manly" carrier soon! I know it must be frustrating. If you have something in mind..... maybe you could describe it and I bet one of us sewers might be able to help you out. I have several carrier patterns, I don't make many because they are very time consuming ..... but if the price if right, lol I'll be glad to talk turkey. What about it sewers...... let's help Dan out with a carrier. This is Chattie and Chizzie's I call this pic.... just hangin' around. Last edited by chattiesmom; 02-27-2006 at 05:44 PM. |

| I bought one of these bags. Not the one that is shown but the one that is called "puppy purse' with mesh in the middle. I thought it was cute and then when I got it Mari would not have anything to do with it. Good luck trying to get all four legs in those holes. They can pull them out faster than you can get them all in. I got her in it one time then put it away and it was $$$ I learned a good lesson on that one. I agree that they like their feet touching something. I have a little front pack now that she likes loves. She takes a nap in it at least once a day. |

I like the looks of it, and if you make and sell them, how much are they? I am somewhat interested. Thanks.

Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | I was curious as to what you are useing for the screening? I have made them in the past for ours and just finished one for Baby Blessing, I used the needlepoint plastic instead of screening and made it so they are inserts. I like it real well, was amazed at the various patterns that are availeable in the sewing pattern books but I made up my own style and pattern. |
