From a different point of view. I am a short person. When I sit in a chair and my feet don't touch the floor it HURTS!!!! And it makes me feel really uncomfortable and SHORT! Now, I don't mind being short, I just want all two of my feet touching something.

Hope you are able to find a "manly" carrier soon! I know it must be frustrating. If you have something in mind..... maybe you could describe it and I bet one of us sewers might be able to help you out. I have several carrier patterns, I don't make many because they are very time consuming ..... but if the price if right, lol I'll be glad to talk turkey.
