| Purse carrier for a long bodied dog? I'm looking for a fashionable, sturdy carrier (ideally black faux leather) with mesh ventilation on both sides and top mesh/opening for my silky terrier puppy, Giorgio. It's been tough to find one that fits him since he has long body (22" length when comfortably lying down, 8" width and 11" height). GG's 8 lbs at 4.5 months and still growing. I realise most carriers are made for dog with compact, square body. I certainly didn't have this much difficulty in finding carriers for the yorkie. Originally, I got him the medium Zack & Zoey carrier but it was too wide and he kept sliding in it. Amazon.com: Zack & Zoey Crocodile Texture Pet... If you guys could recommend something similar or better, we would be forever grateful I'm looking for something < $100 but willing to pay more for the right carrier. This is him His hair has just started to grow back after a disaster haircut. http://distilleryimage7.s3.amazonaws...0a1fbf2e_6.jpg http://distilleryimage6.s3.amazonaws...0a1f9d5f_6.jpg |

| Hi Lil Sis, thank you for the info. I'll definitely look into getting a Jaraden bag in the future. In the meantime, I have splurged and bought a Large Kwigy-Bo Alex in Brown. I know YT members can get a discount here but I got it from Dogged Diva as I was just impatient to wait for replies Their customer service is excellent and responded to my questions during weekends. I really hope it fits. My silky hasn't ceased growing and I'm pretty sure he'll end up not teacup but double teapot size |

| I bought the large KB in the black w/mesh on both ends like you were looking for, Sprocket now weights in @ 13.5lbs and is as you say long bodied, does fine when we travel. Now I know the KB is not cheap but the do last and look good, so to me are worth the $$. Hope you like yours. And I would always recommend the KB.

Tbqh, I was worried if I've splurged on something that doesn't even fit. Will definitely update once it arrives! | |

You are more then welcome. I do sell several types of bags and brands but just very low key about it... more of a hobby than a job you know. I have a kb and love it too, so I am very sure you will be happy. I am also glad you got great service and are happy with your purchase, that is what is most important.
