I bought the large KB in the black w/mesh on both ends like you were looking for, Sprocket now weights in @ 13.5lbs and is as you say long bodied, does fine when we travel. Now I know the KB is not cheap but the do last and look good, so to me are worth the $$. Hope you like yours. And I would always recommend the KB.
