| Fabuleash...fab or waste of $$? Hi there!!! Was thinking of getting some Fabuleashes for my boys for NYC this summer and wanted to know how good they are!!!! Anyone have one?? Do they get tangled when walking more than one??? Good quality?? I was told to get the higher end more expensive ones as they have a better quality handle/lead on them. Also, if 48in long enough???? THANKS!! Viv

| I had one and didn't like it, it felt like it could easily break, mind you it never actually did- it just worried me. I imagined the beads all over the street and the dogs running loose in the streets, lol. I use either a very thin chain leash with a leather handle or a laughing leash.

| Never seen 'em but I LOVE my Martha Stewart leash from Petsmart!! I got the black fabric one that is 6ft long and I think it looks so nice. I love it so much more than our old cheap nylon one.

| Hi...I just got the back diamond and ruby fabuleash....I love them....they are gorgeous! (I already had a lavender and a topaz one!) Btw, the jewel is $13, fab is $15, boutique is $17....so, not too big of a price difference. The jewel has a basic nylon handle, the fab is a nicer nylon handle, the fab is a leather handle with little rhinestones on it. We just take short walks and I think they are great. They are very strong too...as far as I can tell. I ordered directly from the fabuleash...they have free shipping and the best prices that I have seen anywhere. There is much more info on their website. Good luck friend!

| I have the fuchsia colored fabuleash. I honestly haven't used it yet but it feels strong to me, and it is absolutely gorgeous! I'm going to try it out next time and post here again.

| They're made from airline wire, so the stuff that holds the plane you fly in together is what the beads are strung on. Unlikely it'll ever break from the pull of a small dog or an obedient larger dog. Definitely strong enough. I have several colors + pearls. Get lots of compliments when walking the dogs. They are not that "comfortable" of a feel though - but since we don't walk that much I'm probably just not use to the different 'feel'. (a little heavy and not as flexible like a 'regular' leash) The length is great, but I don't let my dogs pull ahead, they walk beside or very near me mostly for safety's sake.

| I have one and have not used it much because Callie absolutely hates it. She has never been one to chew on leashes but for some reason when I used it she would turn her head and bite it as often as she could so we went back to our normal plain leash.

| Viv, Thank you for starting this thread. I may look back into the fabuleashes now! I thought they were pretty neat looking before, but I dismissed them because I thought they would break very easily and were more for show than actual practical use. Now that I know they are made from airplane wire I might look into getting one! |

| Oooh, I like those Swarovski crystal ones. But, at $395...maybe a little on the pricey side though. They're sure pretty!

Two stones fell out after almost a year and I had to send it away to get fixed I'm hoping they can fix it because if they can't they may try to replace it with something else because the piece is retired. I told them I wanted the broken one back if they cannot fix it due to sentimental value, but who knows if they will listen to me or not... Edit: Sorry about that, got a little OT! | I wish a vendor sold them locally so I can see it and touch it. I get all worried buying something online when I have never physically had the item in my hands. Viv

| I really really wanted one and then only had it for 1 day and gave it to someone at work who has a pit bull. I think it is only good for big dogs because I felt like it was too heavy and that Teddi could only walk right next to me because it wasn't long enough for her to pee. Our other leashes are all longer than that one was. I didn't like it at all.

| You should check Petco. They had them in every color imaginable in their clearance bin for $1 about a month ago.
