I have not tried the PEK. Some people like it for their silk-coated pups, but I get the impression that it is more for cotton coats. You may find it to heavy for the silk.

If it were me, I would save the money and go with Chris Christensen, Biogroom, or Coat Handler. I think you would be happier with the results too.

I got samples of Biogroom products the other day but I have not tried them yet. I received the Isle of Dogs and just tried it on my girl yesterday. LOVE IT!!!!

I use Yorkie Splash & Shine sold by a YT member (WalnutHill). I've tried other products but can't get enough of this product. My favorite by far.

No one here sells Chris Christensen. Very few boutiques sell it, so you will probably have to order online either directly from CC, or another outlet like Cherrybrook.

No one here sells Chris Christensen. Very few boutiques sell it, so you will probably have to order online either directly from CC, or another outlet like Cherrybrook.

I contacted Iv San Bernard website for samples. In my request I told them I belong to this forum. They told me to contact JenCar98 for samples. Just thought I'd let you know that she may have some.

Thank you so much!! The Chris Christensen was actually the one I was looking at. My baby don't need heavy on her coat for sure. I appreciate the help. And thanks for the other names too. I change shampoos often!!

The Chris Christensen "Day to Day" shampoo and conditioner is the one I used on Max's silk coat and I really liked it. I'm a hair product junkie too.

It is NOT a good addiction now is it.

My friends love it when I am ready to change. They get my "old" stuff. I think I get bored with the scent and have to try something new.

I love the Isle of Dogs. I bought them after them being recommended by Gail (Gemy) in the grooming section.
I just ordered some more last week - they were shipped on the 31st January by Fedex and scheduled delivery was 3rd Feb. However because of the storms I haven't got them yet - and Fedex no longer has an estimated delivery date with the tracking for the package

I've been looking through the grooming threads at the shampoo and conditioners that seem to be preferred. I've only used Pethead, and am looking forward to trying Biogroom, Isle Of Dogs, Iv San Bernard, Chris Christensen, and Yorkie Splash and Shine. I got a catalog in the mail today, and it had Everyday Isle of Dogs shampoo and conditioner. Is this what you would use from Isle of Dogs? Everyday Isle of Dogs? Shampoos, Conditioners, and Sprays - Pet Supplies, Pet Supply, Pet Dog, Dog Supplies, Pet Products, cat supplies, fish supplies, dog food, cat food, pet dog, Care A Lot Pet Supply

I use the Evening Primrose Oil #10, the #51 Conditioner and I also use the Royal Jelly supplement.

I get it directly from the Isle of Dogs website

They have a "Coat Check" where you can put in your little ones info and they will recommend which of their products is best for your little ones coat.

Thanks! I'm gonna go check it out. My 2 boys have totally different coats. Chase is cottony, and he gets tangles and mats so easily. We keep him in a puppy cut. Calvin is silky, and doesn't get tangles even though his hair is longer. I would love to find something that will help keep Chase tangle-free.

I use the same Isle of Dogs on both Lil Bit and Beamer. Lil Bit is kept in a puppy cut too. Beamer is the one with the silky coat. Beamer does get some tangles, but not many and they comb right out. I have also noticed since I have been using the Isle of Dogs, that the "stickers' he gets in his coat just sort of slide right out when he is combed.
