I have not tried the PEK. Some people like it for their silk-coated pups, but I get the impression that it is more for cotton coats. You may find it to heavy for the silk.
If it were me, I would save the money and go with Chris Christensen, Biogroom, or Coat Handler. I think you would be happier with the results too.
