| Bag Balm is the bomb! Yes it totally works and you can use it for like, EVERYTHING! I got it for Uni's dry and chapped paw pads. Use just a bit and now as smooth as a baby's butt! She did want to lick it though, so be aware about that. I use it for lip balm now and it has worked better and faster than any brand I have ever used. Better than Burt's Bees, better than Keihl's. and since I have been building bicycles my hands are really rough, and this has helped tremendously. However, embroidery and hand sewing is really hard when your fingers are slippery I got the 10 ounce size from CVS for $10. They do have a small 1 ounce size but that is $5, and after doing that hard math, I decided to go for the big one. I'm going to find some little containers and scoop out some to keep one in my purse, one at home, at work, you get the idea. ETA, I had a hard time finding it, or an employee to ask for help (like they would have known anyway ). It's in the lotion aisle (duh) but it's on the bottom shelf. It's a square green tin.

Senior Yorkie Talker | I agree it is awesome stuff! You can find them in super small tins, I have one in my desk drawer. Before I found the small tin I used to scoop a little in an empty RX container for on the go.

| Totally agree! Just getting into Bag Balm the last week or so for Teddys cracked paws and within 2-3 days, I saw a significant improvement. I also have been using it on my nose and lips which are chapped from my cold! This stuff is awesome.

| Did you know that Bag Balm was made for Pigs Udders while they nurse. I bought mine 26 years ago when I started nursing my first daughter. Bought it in the feed store, lol. My OB said it worked great and it did. Glad you dont have to buy it in the Feed Store. lol Last edited by manolos mom; 11-24-2010 at 05:34 PM. |

| It's used for cow utters, so it's completely safe, for those little paw lickers.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Glad it worked for you, I'd heard it was made for cows' udders, so I doubt if licking it will hurt Uni. It's really great for so many things. Lol, we were posting at the same time, great minds think alike!

Teddy does like the licking of the paws and I was worried about that - I was about to dig out the soft kiss-e collar and stick him in it so this is good news that he can go ahead and lick. Although I do want it to work and that callous still needs attention!

| I used to use this all the time. Walmart even used to carry it. I used it when I got a bad case of dry skin on my heels, they were cracking! Bag Balm to the rescue -- just a couple of nights application and they were good to go again. Another one that worked well for my "heel problem" was Zim's Crack Cream. Reminded me of the Beaudreaux's Butt Paste we bought for my grandson's diaper rash. Don't ask me how I did that -- went from Bag Balm to Butt Paste in one paragraph! I think I am tired.
