Retractable Leash and harness recommendations?

PS: The DG is more lite than the puppia, so not bad for summer times, but I have to be 100% honest, the puppia material is better quality, jmo
but the DG work for dog between sizes, the puppias are more whole sizes, well that is what the vendor told me lol. Is better to invest on a good harness that last, others don't last much and some stuff just fall apart NOT COOL!!

It's a purchase I need to plan! I will hold off untill I can decide on exactly which one to buy. I'm torn between the one you just posted, and the 16ft all belt one. I don't know which way to go with that...

I don't like step-in style harnesses. They are too difficult for me to put on because Franklin will just step his foot out of the harness as soon as I put one side on. I will add that because Franklin is 11lbs and a puller, his harness unfortunately didn't last long. Very, very helpful advice, thank you very much. I do think the silk one's are adorable, but I'm glad you said that because the first one I get her needs to be one that can handle some abuse. I think I'm going to go with the regular over the head puppia one for now, as I think it will fit her just fine... and then I'll order something from chattie's mom later on. They are so cute I'd really hate to get it dirty or wet! So, I'd save that one for shorter outings. We like to go on long walks in parks and woods, and road trips, so I really need something that can handle the wear & tear!

Yay! I'm excited to get the puppia one, seems like everyone likes them! I can see how they may not fit a really tiny dog. What size did you get for your 11lb? From my measurements I think Annie needs a Medium. (Neck 10", girth 17", and body 13.5")

I think you would need medium. Jackson fits in a medium, and although he's a bit bigger at 15lbs, even when he was 11-12lbs the medium fit him perfect.

Definitely get a medium puppia.

I got medium for my two boys who are each 10 lbs and it is a little bit big on the smaller guy, but we got a size small for him originally and it was sooo small it wouldn't even strap and it was really short-bodied too.

You will love the puppia, I know I do!

Franklin is around those measurements and the medium fits perfectly!

I like the Avant Garde...they are exceptionally 'stylish' and have retractable "straps" not the cord (for those of you who have ever had a finger pinched in the cord of a Flexi when the dog suddenly pulls you hesitate to use it again) and the small at around $33 are actually cheaper than many of the Flexi's

Thanks, I just looked them up... but they aren't really my style. No offense! I'm not looking for something trendy, as all their designs are, I just want something with more classic styling.

All the Flexi one's I'm looking at are under 30. So my only debate is to go with the 16ft all belt (which doesn't come any longer) or the 23ft corded style. Decisions, decisions!

Awesome! Thanks for all the sizing feedback, here's the one I think I'm going with... I love the little bow on it. It gives it a little bit of girlie-ness, without being so girly that my Husband wont be seen with us while she has it on!
