It's the only harness that does NOT cause breakage on my yorkie's hair. Sometimes she wears it all day, and all i need to do it take it off at night, give it a quick brush (or sometimes not even that) and call it a day.

HOLY COW - those are expensive harnesses. We love our buttery soft leather Choke-free harness.......

I've never heard of these but they look like a step-in harness and I would like to know if it knots the hair like a regular over the head harness? thanks

Just out of curiosity, how much are they going for in the states? (I think ther're made in Canada).

They sell them here for something around $40-50 CAD. At Woofstock (this annual doggy festival in Toronto) Buddy Belt had a booth, and they had this crazy sale going on. They were selling size two (the one Sushi and Mr. Big wear) for like $20-25!!! I bought three different colors for them. Sake and Missy already had theirs, which I had bought full price a while before....ouch!

well I am looking online and I see prices from $36 to $75 US dollars- so depends on size and color

$75?????? wow, tht is expensive!!! Probably larger sizes, with lots of extras (they can add studs/pearls/diamonds/etc).

Also, limited edition colors are pricier.

We have always used the BB harness on Beatrice and started to use it on Sebastien,they really work great.A few weeks ago I noticed some breakage on the top of Sebastien's shoulders where the BB harness rests.I asked a fellow show person what to do about it,she said she doesn't use it for that reason-breakage.
Beatrice doesn't seem to get breakkage from it,so we still use it on her.I am going to show Sebastien and don't want any breakage,so I've been using the "kindness show lead" on him.It is the same lead I will use on him in the ring-so it's good practice.
So...I guess the breakage thing depends on the dog.My 2 have totally different hair types.

Aw I wanted to go Woofstock this year but wasn't able to make it That's a great price for the Buddy Belts! I bought a size 2 (regular/standard one, nothing fancy) for Mocha and it came to about $42 after taxes Seems like a lot of money for something so small lol, but luckily I can justify the price because it's a great harness

Woofstock was amazing. This was Sushi's second year. I love seeing all those different dogs of all shapes and sizes and colors. There were a LOT more yorkies this year, compared to last year. You could see stroller after stroller just filled with a few yorkies each!

And the BB booth was insane! At that price, people were climbing on top of each other to get through.

Do you live in Toronto? Cuz I know of a place that has very good prices on BB. And everything else forthat matter. It's like a doggy walmart. You just have to go there with some time, and go through isles and isles of outfits and harnesses to find what you're looking for.

Sorry about the mini highjack here. Back to BB's, yeah i love them. they might be a bit pricey, but they last forever. My dogs even went for a dip in the pond the other day WITH the BB's on, and they're still like new. No discoloration, nothing.
