Buddy Belts RAVE!!!!!
 
Okay, so Im sure that all you YT mavericks have heard of this before now, but I just discovered the Buddy Belt! lol. Can I just say that its unbelievable! I hate the harness that go around the neck and belly, eventhough its got the D-ring on the backside (not by his neck). My DH bought one of these and Maxi fights us when we put it on, I just hated doing it to him. Plus its so big and we got the smallest size!

So anyway, I shopping for a carrier bag and I saw this buddy belt and I couldnt believe it! Its exactly what I wanted for him and its so soft! the leather is like butter! I bought one and the size fits perfectly. It must not hurt him because he doesnt fight us when we put him in it.

Its really great and I totally recommend it!

I love the buddy belt too, I first saw it at a meet-up and Wylie's Mom was using it on her two boys. There's something about this belt that I just fell in love with, not only the safety of the harness, but the way the belt looks going across their back. I got one for Joey, but I've got to say the pictures on the web, don't do it justice, it really needs to be modeled by a yorkie. :D

You are so right the leather is so soft, and after over 2 years it looks good as new, and for those whose hands get a little stiff, it's so much easier to fasten than the clip type harnesses.

All my babies wear buddybelts, and buddybelts ONLY. Although Sushi has a few harnesses dresses, which she wears for certain occasions, but for day to day use, BB it is! And yes, they are so soft like butter, and sometimes I don't even take them off after their morning walk, untill I take them out in the afternoon again. And they don't seem to mind it.

They come in beautiful colors too. Their "limited edition" colors are gorgeous!!! And you can also get them with added studs, pearls, or diamonds!

OK so can someone tell me what a buddy belt is? what does it look like and how is it different than other harnesses?

It's so easy to put on and take off is a big plus, but it really looks cute in person. Whenever I got to Petsmart everyone wants to know where I got it, even store employees!

This is sooo true!! Also, the Camel (tan) colour looks great on Yorkies! I originally wanted the blue one but they didn't have Mocha's size, so the store associate tried the Camel one on him and it really goes well with the tan on his face and feet!

Sushi and Mr. Big both wear the same size of BB. I have it in tan (sort of a nice shimmery tan), hot pink (only for sushi, of course) and black (which looks really nice on Big). The tan suits Sushi's beautiful colors the best! You are right.

Sake (he's an all white morkie), has it in a nice teal color with white pearls. Looks gorgeous on him.

Missy's BB is Sugar Plum (a very nice metallic dark purple).

Sonya these look like the Choke-Free harnesses without the velcro.

Sushi and Sake. Sake is weating a BB in teal, with pearl accent. What a heartbreaker my little boy is! :)

Hit post reply just like you were going to post a message, and you will see what looks like a little paper clip, click on that and it will tell you what to do. See picture.


Oh you got it before I could explain how to do it. I love the way teal looks on him!

Ohh!!! I was scared to get this color because I thought you wouldnt be able to see it! I ended up getting black because it was the only other color they had in his size and you cant even tell he is wearing it!

I love them!
