| Petosan Electric Toothbrushes? I was wondering if anyone uses the Petosan electric toothbrushes? Winston isn't all that keen on tooth brushing. We're still working on it, but I was hoping I might be able to find something that might be a little more effective in the time that I actually do manage to brush his teeth for. Right now we're using the old fashioned kind (with a toothpaste he loves lol) and the petz4life gel. Is the petosan toothbrush as quiet as they claim? I am really interested in giving it a shot, but if they aren't quiet I am not sure I want to spend $20 on something I will never be able to get anywhere near his mouth. |

| I was looking at some today and they were about $100. Wonder what the difference is? I want to get one for my doggies, too. Just concerned that they will be freaked out. I'll be curious to see what some of the answers are. ~Joanne~

This is what I was looking at in particular: http://www.petosan.com/ Its about $20 in petsmart. Are you thinking of the ones marketed to humans? Like the Philips sonicare? (Pretty sure that one is over $100.) I think there are a couple people who use the cheap ones on their dogs here (ran across some mentions of them when I was searching) but I haven't personally found any that would be quiet enough to not freak Winston out. (I know mine scares the dickens out of him when I use it on me! lol) Was hoping the petosan might be different....

| Teddy uses the Petosan toothbrush. Here is his video from a few days ago I think it's a great product! My other two dogs are not too crazy about it. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/my-...oothbrush.html

Is it very loud Cathy? Hard to tell in the video, but it seems quiet?

| No, it is not very loud. It is much quieter, I think, than the one I use for myself.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Hi, I would think that if you purchased this toothbrush and your dog doesn't like it you can probably return it! I think I might try this one myself, I'm a dental hygienist, so I scale their teeth frequently, but I would like to use the electric for inbetween cleanings
