I have had a bottle of the 16oz for a while now. I use it ocassionally, I really dislike the scent.. however if you want it for the natural flea repellent quality your not going to get it without the Citronella/cedar scent. When I purchased mine they sent along a sample size of their extreme HD lotion for people with dry skin, it is above and beyond any lotion I have ever tried.. it is amazing!

				 | I have been using milksheen on my 3 for a while and I haven't had problem. I do know that you have to rinse them alot or they will look like dandruff. I guess they are all different what works for some doesn't work for others.

				 | Just an update: I used Minksheen on Molly and it was great (she is the one who normally uses dry skin)... I haven't used it on Max again... but it does well for her! We also used it on our black lab (a working dog) and DH likes it a lot!

				 | I am getting used to the scent. I didn't like it as first b/c I am used to the sweet vanilla scents, BUT it has conditioner built in so bath times is about half the time it was before, and there is the pest repellant citronella. AND on the way home from the beach there was no wet dog smell. Seems like when they get wet the scent comes back.

				 | I think the scent has to grow on you. I have been using it for several years now on Buddy and I actually like it now. I am sorry it didn't work for your baby. I think Debra has a point. Perhaps there was shampoo buildup on your puppy and the Minksheen was stripping it down. I would use it again and see if the second time is the charm. For the most part, everyone raves about it. I think it's a wonderful shampoo and makes Buds coat like silk with a great shine. He has a silky coat anyhow but it does add to it. I have never deluted it. I also use Pet Silk, Cranberry Fields and Harry Barker Shea butter. All are great shampoos and have never caused any problem with my Yorkie. I have read that Minksheen does seem to work better on silky coated Yorkies than cottony coated ones. |

				 | I just got my minksheen today and can't wait to try it. Unfortunately, Bella just got back from the groomers so it'll have to wait til her next bath. I smelled it and it didn't smell bad to me but I guess I'll have to wait until i actually use it on her. |

				 | I use it on my 3 however I always have to use a spray on leave in conditioner because the hair is tangled, even when I brush out the hair before the bath.... am I the only one this happens to? The scent does not repell long in this tx flea weather.

				 | Thanks for sharing what you use. I alternate detanglers, ice on ice is one of the ones I use with a pure paws brush, it is gentle yet helps me find the tangles... then I work them out gently with the brush. I don't have combs or anything else.

				 | I like Mink Sheen and use it because of the natural insect repelant. I do not dilute it either and dont seem to have any problems. If I give Bella Mia a second bath in the week I use Bio-Groom and I love it too.

I love in Corpus love it for the insect repellent as well. I think it works great but we don't have a flea or tick problem just mosquitos. I used conditioner as well only for the flyaways. I wish they sold it in an 8oz bottle so I could get a smaller quantity...if Vickie and I lived closer I'm sure we would split a bottle. 16oz is still way too big for my Yorkies. I was sent a sample bottle from a dear Yorkie friend who had a big one and it was a small 2 oz and it lasted me months...I can just imagine how long a 16 oz bottle would last. lol I don't want to order the sample from them because the shipping price is just not worth it. Anyone selling any? | |

				 | We've had nothing but great results with Mink Sheen shampoo. Could have been a bad batch... unlikely. We get ours from MinkSheen Pet Shampoo - |
