I think the scent has to grow on you. I have been using it for several
years now on Buddy and I actually like it now. I am sorry it didn't
work for your baby. I think Debra has a point. Perhaps there was
shampoo buildup on your puppy and the Minksheen was stripping it
down. I would use it again and see if the second time is the charm.
For the most part, everyone raves about it. I think it's a wonderful
shampoo and makes Buds coat like silk with a great shine.
He has a silky coat anyhow but it does add to it.
I have never deluted it.
I also use Pet Silk, Cranberry Fields and Harry Barker Shea butter.
All are great shampoos and have never caused any problem with
my Yorkie.

I have read that Minksheen does seem to work better on silky coated
Yorkies than cottony coated ones.
