| The muscles in my shoulders were injured by a chiropractor 2 years ago and are still healing so I can't carry her for very long at a time. She would never get to go to the mall with me if it was not for the stroller, and the indoor malls don't like dogs walking around on the ground. The stroller is also good for me because it holds my shopping bags, purse, and water or coffee. If I shop where there is a shopping cart, I put a blanket down and she rides in that. She is not in the stroller when we go for walks, then of course she walks. |

Okay....again...if you look thru this thread, you will see the various reasons why some people choose to want a stroller for their dogs. I know everyone is different and has their own opionions...AND YES, all dogs need exercise and love to walk...but in some cases, these little dogs do NOT need to be on the ground. I agree w/ Lori...I never (EVER) let my two walk on the vets floor or in any pet store floor...EVER! The germs!!! YUCK! I also have a friend who has a little girl dog (well, 23lbs) that had surgery...yes, it is good for her to walk, but she can't handle long walks, etc. BUT my friend doesn't want to have her confined to the house and not get out like they use to....so yes, she uses a stroller and that helps her little girl from getting depressed and lonely being stuck in the house after YEARS of being on the go. If you have been to places I have been, you will see why I think a stroller is much needed..........we do a lot of car shows and swap meets....we are talking acres and acres in the hot sun and the crowds of 1000s of people. Sure, they walk around, but a stroller is a PLUS when the crowds get too thick and these two little ones do NOT need to be underfoot in all that foot traffic.......plus, it is a good place for them to get....on their cooling mat in the shade of their canopy. Leave them at home, you might ask.....not a chance...why would I? Plus, with a stroller, that leaves my hands free for purchasing items at these places or outdoor markets or for my camera, etc. Use a carrier, you might ask...no way....these two are not "bag" babies...they hate being in a bag (plus, it gets too hot).....and they love to be wide out in the open to see it all...and to be seen. So...depending on your lifestyle, the places you go and the things you do...I can see where some could benefit from a stroller and some may not. Granted...we are constantly on the go and have lived w/o a stroller for the soon to be 5 years we have had Mojo...but I see where it is a huge plus in my case....and plus, the more places we go...the more I see dogs in strollers...AND we may not use the stroller at all times...but shoot, we will have it on hand if we need it!

I too, thought they were stupid until yorkiecrazy convinced me we needed one to make it more convenient for various trips, especially to the vet. So, now I've come around. They definitely serve a purpose. !!!! The stroller turned out to be a Godsend after Katie's LP surgery recently. During the two week confinement period, yorkiecrazy was able to just push Katie's stroller around with her wherever she went. Yorkiecrazy didn't have to worry whether Katie was jumping around or not and Katie was still with her just like before. Katie loved it! She got VERY spoiled, but she loved it! Though I am now a firm believer in their usefulness, I do wish she could have found a suitable stroller in any other color besides pink! So far, I've not yet been forced in a position that would have me pushing this thing alone! | |

| Jenn, did you ever get a stroller? How do you like it? I kind of want one but Britney is so weird when it comes to stuff like that that I know she'll freak out.

| Not yet Kyle...I am waiting to see what all I get for my birthday...I already have one gift card to PetsMart ($40) and they have the Jeep strollers, etc on their website. I have pretty much decided (I think) on a jogger type (as we walk a lot) and on the gravel and grass, etc...I think the real tires would just be better. --- I guess if I am unhappy w/ it, I will return it...a hassle...but shoot, I want the thing to be easy to use OR I won't use it!!!

| Well, After lots of reading and research...I finally bought a stroller...I decided to go with Happy Trails Pet Gear Pet Stroller in Blue.... I decided that if it did not work like I am hoping it will...Then I will give it to my daughter...She has 2 little girls...And they go with her everywhere.... I got my email stating that UPS would be delivering it Thursday. I am sooo excited.... I know this was Jen's thread but I got sooo much info off it so I wanted to share with what I decided.... Joyce
