The muscles in my shoulders were injured by a chiropractor 2 years ago and are still healing so I can't carry her for very long at a time. She would never get to go to the mall with me if it was not for the stroller, and the indoor malls don't like dogs walking around on the ground. The stroller is also good for me because it holds my shopping bags, purse, and water or coffee. If I shop where there is a shopping cart, I put a blanket down and she rides in that. She is not in the stroller when we go for walks, then of course she walks.
