| That's awful! I worry about that with Bella too. I've never worried about it before but maybe because we've always had Lab's and I can't imagine trying to steal a large dog. We have a completely fenced in backyard (8ft fence)but when Bella goes outside to potty I still keep an eye on her. You just never know.

| That is such a sad story. I would be so very heartbroken. I can imagine how they feel. You'd be so helpless.

| Seems like it is happening more and more these days. People are siii unkind and thoughtless. They just know that Yorkies are worth money and do not care about aynthing else. Such a shame

| You know times are really hard when you can't leave your furbabies at home and trust that they will be safe. It really concerns me that our country is heading faster and faster in this direction. I double lock the doors, set the alarm for them, and turn the webcam on to a website so that I can watch them in the house, and still worry. So I bring them with me to work most of the time. Even with me, the housekeeping lady at my office made a statement to my Pookie, "I'll take you and sell you, I bet I could get about $1K for your little self." OMG I snatched myself around, got up in her face and told her I would cut her hands off if she spoke like that again, and she wouldn't steal anything, then reported it to the owner of the company, thank goodness I haven't seen her lately. This is where we are now. Our little babies are being stolen and sold by theiving, sorry, worthless, beings that don't deserve to breath our air and aren't worth the powder it would take to blow them away. This is just an awful thing to have happen to our babies. Think of the anxiety that poor baby is going through. I am so sorry for all of the victims of this outrageous behavior. Prayers and Hugs, Denise

| Oh, yeah, I forgot to add I'm usually a kind, loving, giving, and caring individual. But when it comes to all of our babies, I can be a South Georgia Redneck!

| I've never even considered having somebody take one of my dogs until I got Walker. I take him to work with me every day and people comment all the time how sweet and well behaved and cute etc he is and I've had numerous customers ask me, if I'd be willing to sell him. Everybody LOVES this dog and that's what worries me now, never did in the past. But in this day and age you just can't trust even the nicest people any more. How sad I sure hope that ALL these poor folks who had their fur babies taken will be reunited with them, soon. I know it would brake my heart......

| I just went to this site: Find Toto - Missing Pets Database and still no update. Precious has not been found. I couldn't find out anything in the Orlando Sentinel either. I will keep searching to see what I can find. I can't believe they haven't updated us. Praying for Precious. |

| I really hope they find the little guy. I never worried before myself, but now all I have are little guys. I am considering getting another large breed, just so I feel safer with my babies in the house alone. It's sad to think that for every one they manage to find, there are several that never do get found. A lady that lives down the street from me had her Bulldog stolen right off of her patio. She lives in an apartment complex, for goodness sake! Let him out to get a little sun and went to get something. Next thing you know, he's gone. I don't think it was even 5 minutes. Makes me think she was being watched. Makes me nervous to walk my babies around here. So, if I do, I tend to make sure there is no one around when I turn onto my street. Paranoid, I kow. But, better safe than sorry anymore. |

| I know what you mean. Mine go out a doggie door, down a ramp to their dog run. I use to never really worry about someone taking them. I worried more about them getting out. So I have made sure every little hole, and cranny is blocked up. Now I worry about someone taking them too. I shut the doggie door and keep them inside when I go away for fear someone will take them when they go out to the bathroom. It's a terrible feeling, but it is happening all the time. Darlene |

YT 1000 Club Member | This has always terrified me, the fear of not knowing where my pet is or if I'll see her again. I'm wondering something and would love to have some feedback on it. My husband is in the business of making tracking equipment. He makes them for various reasons mostly being animal tracking. I want him to make a collar for my Roxie so that if anything happens we can track her. I'm thinking that if you can make a collar that the tracking device is somewhat inconspicuous you might be able to catch a thief. My daughter's husky wears one because she loves to run if she gets loose. We've tracked her several times and gotten her back. She loves to chase dear and go for a swim in the river! I'm just wondering if any of you think this would be something beneficial? |
