[News] Thieves break into Lake home, steal Yorkie 1 Attachment(s) Lake County reporter Helen Eckinger just sent me this heart breaking story...how could people be so cruel? We have to help find Precious. http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/fea...9/precious.jpg When burglars broke into Marie and Ken McKinnon's Clermont home on Tuesday, they took the most important thing in the house: the McKinnon's 5 lb. Yorkie, Precious. "They just scooped her up and took her away," Marie McKinnon said. "We don't know what to do." The McKinnons are hoping that a latent fingerprint found by Lake County Sheriff's Office will reveal the identity of the dognapper. But, they also ask that anyone who think they may have seen Precious, who is 3 1/2 years old, will contact them at 352-227-9272. Go to http://www.findtoto.com/missing-pets.htm, click on Florida in search area and Precious is 2nd on the list. Watch a video plea for help below YouTube - Help me find my dog Precious!! |
Thats horrible! And one of my biggest fears... Just last week, a local woman's home was broken into... They took a lot of stuff, including her Yorkie! Its just horrible to hear about things like this :( |
How awful That is my greatest fear as well. I sure hope Precious finds her way back home |
That happened to my friend back in december, they cut her phone lines attacked her large dog and stole her yorkie, Only her yorkie, from her house |
OMG...I can\'t even imagine people who\'d do something so heartless. It just makes me sick to my stomach seriously. They must not have a brain or a heart or a soul.....the poor little dog is scared and the people brokenhearted. I hope they catch the thieves AND the dog is found and returned safe and sound:hands: |
OMG I can\'t even imagine if this happened to me.. How can people be so heartless? She is beautiful and hope she gets her back soon. Was she a show dog? What in the world were they thinking? It\'s CRAZY!!!! I will pray for precious until she is returned to her momma.:big_hug::hands::hands::hands: |
This is such bad news. I can\'t even imagine. I swear anyone who comes into my home can take anything they want as long as they leave my baby alone. She\'s the one thing that can\'t be replaced! I hope they find Precious soon. |
That is horrible. :( I hope they find her, and the bad person is caught! |
I cousin of my husband\'s yorkie dog was stolen from the car. They were parked in their driveway and had put their dog inside. The other is a doctor whose cleaning lady must have left the door opened, the yorkie obviously was scooped up and taken. This doctor knocked on neighbors houses, nobody saw the dog. :thumbdown |
that is terrible if anyone stole chester, there would be a manhunt, out for him people are just cruel, I hope she is home soon. |
Like others have said on here, That\'s one of my biggest fears. Someone broke into my breeders place, and took 5 puppies and her stud. Police were called, but nothing so far. What is going on with people? God I hope they find poor Precious, and return her to her mommy and daddy. Prayers go out to that family, and all others that have lost a pet or family member. :hands: :hands: :hands: :hands: :hands: |
It\'s like you have to keep it a secret that you have yorkies these days....Lock and double lock your doors !!! Prayers are said for their babies and their parents.... Too bad the \'chip\' isn\'t a homing device !!! |
I can\'t believe the nerve of some people!!! If that happend to my little Toby I wouldn\'t stop looking till the day I found him!!! I hope you find Precious soon.:hands::hands::hands::hands: |
This breaks my heart!!! Any leads on who may have their furbaby? I prayers go out the family!!! |
OMG this is horrible!!! This is a big fear of mine too! Take my stuff but leave my fur baby...I am so sorry this has happened....I will keep my fingers crossed for you that you get your precious baby back! |
