| Nobody? From everything I can find it seems ok just was hoping to hear from someone with first hand experience with it.

| My furbabies don't like anything fishy, so I don't know. Hopefully someone else on here knows??

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | That's a whitefish right? After my recent consult w/ an animal nutritionist, I've switched my guys over to Tilapia - and they LOVE it. Oddly, their poos don't really smell anymore since getting off of the chicken. The nutritionist recommended tilapia/cod/sole/trout to me.

| Can I ask what you mix it with? Gave the trout yesterday and Teddy had a 4am trip outside which he never does. It wasn't bloody, just soft. I just mixed it with rice and some pees as i was still trying to go easy on his tummy.

| I think flounder is considered a white fish, so you should be ok.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Were you asking me there? If yes, I mix it w/ baked then mashed potatoes and a dollop of steamed/pureed green beans.

Sorry. Yes, I was asking you. One last question and I will leave you alone. Can you tell me how much fish and potato. Are you using white potatoes. Do you know if I can mix in some pumpkin for his poops? He has run outside twice in the last 5 minutes! Thank you so much for your time.

How much does he weigh? That's part of the equation. I'll tell you what I give Marcel (weighs 2 lb. 11 oz.): 2-2.5 oz. of fish for the day (either divided by 2 or 3 meals), about 2T of potato per meal, and about 1T of green beans per meal. The nutritionist actually wants me to feed much more on the potato and beans, but he just doesn't eat it, it's too much volume. She did, btw, recommend pumpkin - loves it in fact; so yes, add 'er in! It is great for diarrhea and/or dogs w/ ibd/ibs. She and I decided to leave the pumpkin out in Marcel's case, just bc of sheer food volume - she recommends Benefiber only, in terms of fiber supplements - so that's what we're using for fiber (NO metamucil or psyllium based products). For Wylie (7.5 lbs.), I give 3-3.5 oz fish per day - and the proportionally kinda the same as above. Does that help? (oh...also, you could give some yogurt while your baby is adjusting, the live cultures will help him adjust)

| Thank you so much! I am gonna jump in the shower and run to the store for some more fish and get to putting this together. His poor tummy is just in an uproar, I can hear it carrin on! I assume it shouldn't matter if the fish is frozen? Or should it be fresh? Thank you again so so much!

Btw, since the fish diet is considered "hypoallergenic", your baby could be detoxing a bit too; plus it's so common to have an adjustment period during big diet changes. Just stick with it for a few more days and see how it goes. Keep me posted! Oh, also! Don't add the greens back in until the tummy settles - might be better to stick to fish, potato, pumpkin until he settles (and maybe yogurt or a probiotic).

| Not usually, only about 50% of dogs can actually eat raw fish without puking it up within minutes of consuming it and believe me it leaves a nasty smell on your carpet! Two of mine are fine with it and one isen't so I usually feed the fisk cooked, they generally get in once a week. |
