Thank you so much for your time. |
You're not bothering me, darlin'!
How much does he weigh? That's part of the equation. I'll tell you what I give Marcel (weighs 2 lb. 11 oz.): 2-2.5 oz. of fish for the day (either divided by 2 or 3 meals), about 2T of potato per meal, and about 1T of green beans per meal. The nutritionist actually wants me to feed much more on the potato and beans, but he just doesn't eat it, it's too much volume.
She did, btw, recommend pumpkin - loves it in fact; so yes, add 'er in! It is great for diarrhea and/or dogs w/ ibd/ibs. She and I decided to leave the pumpkin out in Marcel's case, just bc of sheer food volume - she recommends Benefiber only, in terms of fiber supplements - so that's what we're using for fiber (NO metamucil or psyllium based products).
For Wylie (7.5 lbs.), I give 3-3.5 oz fish per day - and the proportionally kinda the same as above.
Does that help?

(oh...also, you could give some yogurt while your baby is adjusting, the live cultures will help him adjust)
